Studies have shown that students who eat breakfast benefit nutritionally and academically. However, too many children are still starting the day on an empty stomach, whether it’s because they have limited time, aren’t hungry first thing in the morning, or have no access to food. Upper Sandusky Schools serves breakfast every day at 7:30a.m. (9:30 a.m./ 2 hr. delay). Students have several tasty options to choose from. Let us get your student energized for a day of learning and fun with school breakfast!

STATE PLACER!
USHS Senior wrestler Ethan L. has completed his high school career by standing on the podium in Columbus as a OHSAA DII State Wrestling placer. Ethan battled for three days and ended up finishing seventh overall in the 157 pound weight class. What a great way to end a storied career. Ram Nation is extremely proud of Ethan for his athletic accomplishments but even more proud of how he represents our community off the mats.
To recognize Ethan for this awesome accomplishment, the Upper Sandusky Fire Department and USPD will be providing an escort for Ethan back to USHS tonight around 11:00-11:30 PM. They will be meeting near Wyandot Lanes and traveling back to USHS. We know it's late but stop on out and help us welcome Ethan back to town.

Good afternoon,
Due to power outage at the high school that is going to take some time to repair we will be doing a controlled release of high school students both drivers as well as bus riders to get them home safe. All high school practices and events are canceled for tonight. Students at Union, East, South, and the middle school will be released at their normal time.
The storm that came through did not impact any of our buildings. All students and staff are safe.

STATE BOUND AGAIN
CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Senior Ram wrestler Ethan L. who once again will be making the trip down to the Schottenstein Center in Columbus for the OHSAA DII State Wrestling Championships this weekend. The Senior standout and one of USHS's best wrestlers, went 2-0 on the first day of competition at the DII District Tournament on Friday at Norwalk High School and then fought through tough competition on Saturday by finishing fourth to secure his second straight trip to the State Championships. Ethan will wrestle for his spot on the podium on Friday afternoon. What a great way to cap off a stellar career at USHS. Congratulations Ethan, Ram Nation is rooting for you.
Sophomore wrestler Braylon S. also had a strong performance at the District Championships by making it to Saturday but falling just short of a state bid. Great job Braylon.
