Summer is just around the corner! Erika Holloway is offering new and improved social-emotional workshops for kids this summer. All workshops will be held in Upper Sandusky, Ohio but are not limited to USEVS students. The exact location will be shared once the registration form is submitted.
This summer, the workshops will be hands-on and occur outdoors (weather permitting). Workshops include Kids Glow Yoga, Iced Coffee & Vision Boards, Nurturing Plants and Our Minds, Building Self-Esteem, Expressive Painting, and Nature Therapy. The goal of these workshops is to provide a safe space for kids to express themselves, boost self-esteem, and equip them with the tools they need to navigate challenges in both school and their personal lives.

Author Visit-USHS Grad, Matthew Swinehart, and his sweet therapy dog, Nola, are visiting East on May 6th. "Nola the Noble Corgi Visits the Hospital" is his first book.
Congratulations to the students that received Positive Office Referrals in March/April. These students exemplified one of our Portrait of a Ram characteristics (Adaptability, Critical Thinking, Integrity, Communicate Effectively, Responsibility). Bryson S showed Responsibility by following directions in class. Wyatt J showed Responsibility by helping to clean the room during the Pi Day celebration as he was also engaging with his fellow students. Esperanza D showed Responsibility by cleaning a mess at breakfast that she did not make.

If you are not able to download your documents into Final Forms, or do not have access to a copier, you can bring your documents to East, South, or Union Elementary Schools any weekday between 8 am and 2 pm, or to the Superintendent’s office at 800 North Sandusky between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm to have copies made at no charge, before your screening appointment. Please do not wait until the last week to come in to have your copies made, as the week of screening will be extremely busy. Check your email for screening information. 2026 USHS HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS DEADLINE APPROACHING
Nominations for the USHS Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be closing soon so if you know anyone deserving of induction, don't miss the deadline of May 24th. Candidates must be a graduate of USHS, a former coach at USHS, or an administrator at USHS and must have distinguished themselves through their athletic or administrative accomplishments, exploits, and achievements while at USHS and beyond. Please note that a nomination does not mean induction but all nominations will be kept on file to be considered for future years. If you would like to nominate a candidate for induction, please complete the nomination form found in the attached link, or you can complete a paper copy of the nomination form at the high school athletic office or print the form off of the USEVS District page (under the Athletics/Documents tab). The 2026 USHS Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted at the home varsity football game on Friday, September 4th. If you have any questions about this process, please contact Athletic Director Blake England.

USHS SPRING SPORT SENIOR NIGHT REMINDER
Friendly reminder that the USHS Spring Sport Senior Night will take place prior to today's Varsity Softball game against Carey. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at approximately 4:45 PM and is part of a NHS project for two of our student-athletes. All spring sport Senior student-athletes and their escorts are asked to meet at the softball field at approximately 4:15 PM to check-in. This event is for all Senior spring sport student-athletes and open to the public so come on out and help us celebrate our Seniors and recognize them for the impact they have made at USHS. Tonight will also be our Mental Health Awareness event as well so come out and support a very special cause.
