Good morning, Due to the icy conditions this morning and serious staffing shortages Upper Sandusky schools will be closed Thursday, February 13, 2025. Many of our staff come from surrounding counties, which are under level two and three snow emergencies and cannot travel. This places us in a position where we do not have enough staff to operate. Conferences this evening will be canceled and teachers will reach out to those who have scheduled conferences to arrange a time to discuss your students progress.
Good morning. Today is Thursday, February 13th and Upper Sandusky Schools are on a two hour delay. Repeating Upper Sandusky Schools are on a two hour delay.

CONGRATULATIONS to Seniors Lea Margison and David Gibson for being named the All-Heart Athletes of the Month for January. Both Lea and David were nominated and voted on by their peers and community for the many great characteristics they display on and off the field of play. These two give everything they have to their team and their school and exemplify all of the attributes that make them the All-Heart Athletes of the Month and an important part of Ram Nation. Here is a summary of what people had to say about Lea and
David:
Lea is a fun person to be around, whether in the classroom or cheering beside her on the sidelines. She has a heart full of passion for her sport, but her best trait is her compassion for those around her. She is full of energy, and if you’ve been around her, you know that there’s never a dull moment with Lea. She cheers EVERYONE on, not just the basketball or football team. She truly cares about every individual she encounters, and she shines light to those around her. Lea shows nothing short of great enthusiasm in ALL she does!
David has worked hard on and off the court to improve and give his all in academics, athletics, and general life. He is a great teammate no matter the situation, and on the basketball court, he gives his all in every moment. He is someone who demonstrates resilience in every situation, leading by example in how to act when tough things happen. It has been inspiring to watch him grow throughout his life and step into the young man he has become! David has not shied away from the hard work that it takes to become the best version of himself.
Congratulations, Lea and David, for being selected for the January ALL-Heart athletes of the month. We thank you for inspiring those around you, and being positive influences in our classrooms and in athletics. We thank you for representing USHS in a positive manner and being wonderful influences to those around you.

The USHS Athletic Department would like to extend a very special CONGRATULATIONS to Senior wrestler Abe Baldwin who earned his 100th career win this past Saturday at the River Valley Bender Duals. Wrestling season is short and the opportunities for wins are limited which makes this accomplishment even more impressive. This is a truly awesome milestone for one of USHS's best student-athletes. Ram Nation is extremely proud of Abe's accolades but even more proud of how he represents our school and community off the wrestling mat. Congratulations again Abe!

Action Needed! Meal charge notifications were sent to parent emails. All charges must be paid ! Cash or check (made out to USEVS Foodservice) can be sent to school or use the online payment system PaySchools. The goal of the school meal programs is to provide nutritious meals to children during the school day. Children may receive breakfast and lunch at no cost to them if they are categorically eligible for free meals or if they qualify for free meals based on federal poverty guidelines. Sometimes, however, children who do not qualify based on these standards would like a breakfast or lunch, but do not have money in their account or in-hand to cover the cost of the meal at the time of the meal service. We are happy to provide a meal to these students, however the viability of our foodservice department is dependant on receiving payment for all meals served to students. Please check your email for meal charge notification. Please send payment as soon as possible!
