Third graders celebrated the 101st day of school today!! They dressed in white and black, made Dalmatian slime, ate a special snack, and completed an assortment of activities around the number 101. They are 101 days smarter!!🎉

The peanut butter and jelly drive to benefit the Open Door food pantry is underway! Have your child bring in their donations to their classroom teachers. This is for all students K-8. The classes in each level that bring in the most jars will win a pizza party and the Golden Peanut Butter Trophy! Hurry! The ending date is Friday, Feb. 18th!
Union K-5 students raised the AMAZING amount of $2,389.29 for St. Jude's Children's hospital during our coin drive that concluded last week! The 5th grade raised almost half of that and their teachers are throwing them a pizza party and the PTO is covering $50 of the costs. Mrs. Emerick's class brought in the most money overall. Thank you student leadership team for creating this school wide event to help the families of these children!

Mrs. Banta’s 2nd grade class has been working on identifying coins, making $1 with coins, and counting combinations of coins. They collected coins & applied their skills to raise $142.63 for St. Jude’s.
