Mrs. Fillmore’s kindergarteners and Mrs. Banta’s second graders worked together to become published authors and illustrators! They created stories about what they imagine snowmen would do at night after reading the book “Snowmen at Night” by Carolyn Buehner. Students voted on front covers and title pages created by Mrs. Fahle’s art students for the book. Winners were Jocelyn Leighty for the front cover and Aubree Barth for the title page.

Effective January 27th 2022, Upper Sandusky Schools will no longer conduct contact tracing for school related COVID-19 cases. The decision is consistent with guidance issued by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) on January 26, 2022. Email notification of positive COVID-19 cases in buildings, classrooms, athletics and school extracurricular activities will continue but close contacts will not be identified. Wyandot County Public Health and the school will continue to work together to deal with COVID-19 outbreaks or clusters in schools as necessary. Positive COVID-19 cases must continue to follow current isolation guidance and contacts of positive cases outside of school must continue to follow quarantine guidelines from the Ohio Department of Health.

We are resurrecting "Math Night" for our families this spring. The date will be Thursday, March 24th, and will be held at Union School in the big gym. The last time we held it was March of 2019. Families can arrive at 6:00pm and it will last until 7:00pm in an Open House style. We're looking forward to seeing everyone again this year!
