Thanks so much for your support of the Hat day fundraiser. We raised a little over $1000! Way to go! We will be giving the proceeds to our families to help with the unexpected expenses they've had. Union is proud to be part of a community that takes care of each other. Thank you!
Our readathon top reader and top fundraiser (most sponsorships) prizes were distributed on Friday along with everything that was ordered from the prize store! Congrats!
Happy Heart of a RAM Friday! It's also our hat day fundraiser but these RAMs were demonstrating the traits of critical thinking, kindness, perseverance, responsibility and respect. They are doing so well at being the RAM citizens we all love to see.

Per Ohio law our school district is required to provide annual child abuse training to all students K-6. When you registered in Final Forms you were given the option to opt your child out of this requirement.
If you have not done so as yet OR would like to opt out please write a note to your child's teacher with your child's full name requesting that they be opted out of this requirement. Our school counselors will begin working with classrooms beginning February 9th. Thanks for your help.

I extended the Read-A-Thon prize shop since we had so many days off. Just keep in mind that you only have 6 days to spend those rewards if you have them. After that, the store closes and everything will be shipped to the school where I will distribute them to students. Thank you!

Our read-a-thon is now complete. I wanted to say a giant THANK YOU to our school community! We're incredibly proud of our readers and grateful for your support, which made our fundraiser a success. Our students had a wonderful time reading.
Our readers K-5 read a grand total of 55,932 minutes and raised over $5,500! That is incredible. Students, remember you have 9 days to spend your "Rat bucks" in the reward store. When we are back in school I will be distributing prizes to students who earned instant prizes with either minutes or sponsors. Enjoy your day off and stay warm.
