There will be no school this Thursday and Friday due to the Wyandot County Fair. No school on Sept. 15th or 16th.

Just a reminder parents that we no longer have the free lunch voucher building wide. You can still qualify for free or reduced lunches but you must fill out the application that was sent home with your child. Otherwise, you may be getting a letter with a bill from the food service department. If you need another paper application, please send a note with your child and we will get one home to you.
All 3 second grade classes spent time learning about September 11th this week! For our culminating project, students each made a square for a remembrance quilt that we donated to our local fire department for their 9/11 memorial display on Sunday!

Parents,
This is Mrs. McMillan, Union Elementary principal. During our fire inspection by the state fire marshall we were notified that the building fire alarm system was not functioning properly. This afternoon local fire officials inspected our building. They met with us to let us know how we can temporarily put safety procedures in place until the system is repaired while staying in session. School personnel will be doing a visual inspection in every part of the building every 30 minutes to ensure everyone's safety. These inspections will be documented and the state fire marshall will be visiting to make sure all procedures are being followed properly. Your child's safety and the safety of our staff are a top priority to us. We will provide updates as we get more information.
Important School Meal Reminder!
Remember Lunch Money!
Free meal waiver has ended! All USEVS cafeterias will
return to paid meals in 2022-23. All meals purchased at
school will require payment unless a family is approved
for free and reduced price meals.

These teachers can’t wait for the new school year!
