The USHS Athletic Department would like to wish our Varsity Boys and Girls Golf teams GOOD LUCK as they swing for an N10 Championship this week. The Lady Rams will be in action tomorrow at Woody Ridge GC as they try to win their first N10 title in school history. Tee time begins at 9:00 AM.
The Rams will attempt to reclaim their N10 crown on Wednesday at Woody Ridge GC. Tee time is also at 9:00 AM. Good luck to both teams. Ram Nation is rooting for you.

Here our a first round (continued) of Positive Office Referrals for the 25-26 School Year. The following students have displayed one of the five characteristics of the district Portrait of a Ram (Adaptability, Communicating Effectively, Critical Thinking, Integrity, Responsibility). We want to recognize these students for their actions in making USHS an amazing school. Jordan A was recognized for Thinking Critically by Mr. Carroll for coming in to get extra help on a problem that he wasn't understanding in class. Felicity B was recognized for Responsibility by Mrs. Schoonover for asking to start a test during her study hall so that she could get it finished on time. Jarred LG was recognized for Responsibility by Mrs. Dunn for increasing his participation in Spanish. Luke S was recognized for Adaptability by Mrs. Schoonover for his ability to self regulate during a classroom conflict with another student.

CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the USHS Lady Rams Cross Country team who were runners-up at the Stars, Stripes, Lights Meet hosted by Seneca East. The field consisted of 18 teams and 212 runners. Pacing the Lady Rams was Junior Jocelyn Leightey who turned in a 10th place finish with a time of 20:14.49. Fellow Junior Abigail Ault also cracked the top 20 with a 14th place finish in a time of 20:37.38. Another great performance logged by our Runnin' Lady Rams.
The boys team finished 6th out of 21 teams and were led by Sophomores Franklin Arnold and Andrew Leightey who finished 26th and 27th out of 227 runners respectfully (17:17.02 and 17:19.44). Both teams will be back in action on Saturday at the Galion Invite.

CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the Varsity Lady Rams Cross Country team who were champions of the Bucyrus Elks Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. The Runnin' Lady Rams were paced by Junior Jocelyn Leightey who finished second in the race with a time of 20:16.10. Fellow Junior Abigail Ault was fourth with a time of 20:48.10 and Freshman Madison Miles turned in a ninth place finish with a time of 21:20.20.
