Tonight we will be recognizing our JH girls BB teams at halftime of the varsity game. JH players wearing their jerseys will be admitted free. Go Lady Rams!
Please join us in the middle school gymnasium next Tuesday, December 19th for the 7th & 8th grade band and choir concert! The students will present a delightful program of winter and holiday-themed music! Doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert is free to the public!
CONGRATULATIONS goes out to our Varsity Swim Teams for their championship performances at this past weekend's ABEHR Invite hosted by Fremont Ross High School. The Lady Ram swimmers finished with a 2nd place finish while the Ram swimmers were meet champions! A very special CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Lady Ram swimmer Jenna Wenger who broke the ABEHR meet record in the 100M backstroke with a time of 1:02.57. Great job Jenna and great job swim team. Keep on kicking! The swim teams will be back in action this Wednesday as they "host" a quad meet at the Bucyrus YMCA. Start time of 5:00 PM.

TONIGHT we debut our Union Elementary 5th grade band, as well as the middle school 6th grade band in a winter concert! Come out to Union Elementary to hear our young musicians in their first concert of the year. Concert starts @ 7 o'clock, doors open at 6:30 pm.

Dear Community,
I was just made aware by local law enforcement officials of an email circulating around the state regarding terrorist threats towards schools. The context of the message is America’s support for the war in the Ukraine. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security have determined this to be a non-credible threat. Safety is a priority in Upper Sandusky schools and we will be following the advice of local law enforcement and our security procedures. We want to be very transparent to the community and at the same time remind everyone that our staff will be vigilant as safety is a priority.

CHANGE: The Freshman boys BB game at Wynford on 12/11 has been MOVED to 2/8 at Wynford with a 5:30 PM tip-off.

CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Kaden Holman for being named OHSAA DIV All-Ohio Honorable Mention at the QB position. Kaden led the Rams football team this year in most offensive categories and has shattered most of the QB records during his tenure at USHS. We are extremely proud of the athletic accomplishments Kaden has accumulated and we are proud of the person and student he is as well. He represents our community and Ram Pride with distinction. Congrats again Kaden and Go Rams!

CONGRATULATIONS to our boys and girls swim teams who each placed 3rd at this past weekend's Friendly House Invitational hosted by Lexington High School. The ladies finished behind Lexington and Ashland while the boys finished behind Lexington and Colonel Crawford. A very special congratulations goes out to Senior Jenna Wenger, who was named Swimmer of the Meet for her double individual event wins. Congratulations to all of our swimming Rams and Lady Rams on a stellar performance. The swim team will be back in action on Thursday at the Ottawa YMCA against Bluffton. Go Rams and Lady Rams!

The varsity boys basketball team begins their season tonight at home against the Willard Crimson Flashes. JV tip is at 6:00 PM. For anyone who ordered season tickets and did not pick them up in the athletic office, your tickets will be waiting for you at the gate tonight. Also, tonight we will be selling half-court shot tickets at the concession stand for anyone who thinks they can make a half court shot for cash. Tickets are $1.00 and the winning ticket will be drawn at the conclusion of the 1st quarter of the varsity game. If you are selected and make the half-court shot, you will win $100! The USHS athletic department is happy to announce a half court shot contest for a chance to win some cash. Tickets for this contest can be purchased for $1.00 at the athletic office or at the concession stand during home basketball games. The winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the first quarter of the varsity game and the winner will get the chance to nail a half court shot for $100 at halftime. A huge thank you to Bringman & Clark Funeral Home for sponsoring this event. The first chance at money will be this Friday at the boys basketball season opener against Willard. Good luck!
