Ready for our third deserving group of RAMS? Well, wait no more - here is our third round of March Positive behavior students:
Jack Ren: One of our classes has set up a mentoring system to help students grasp the content. Jack saw that one of the mentors was absent and stepped in to support the student without a mentor. Wow, what a great way to be a RAM, Jack!
Hannah Bird: Hannah went out of her way to welcome a teacher back after an extended absence. Her kindness and caring attitude touched the teacher and she is so deserving of this recognition. Thank you for your Big Heart, Hannah!!
Zakk Rochester: Zakk acted very gentleman like when he opened the door to the office for a teacher. What a nice gesture! Thank you for your chivalry, Zakk!
Eric Saunders: Eric is very helpful to the substitute teacher in gym class. He helps set up and tear down the day's activity. Way to go, Eric! Thanks for helping out!
Gabe Randall: Gabe was 'caught' helping another student prepare for an upcoming math test! Way to look out for your fellow RAM, Gabe!
Joey Smith: Joey is being recognized for his high level of respect he shows not only to adults but to his classmates as well. He also helps to return furniture to its proper place in the library, even if he wasn't the one to move it. THIS is being a RAM, Joey!






USHS ATHLETICS UPDATE:
Both JV and Varsity Softball games are still ON as scheduled. The Varsity team will be at Colonel Crawford and the JV team will host Fostoria. Both starting at 5:00 PM.

The JV/V Baseball games against Colonel Crawford have been cancelled for today. Make-up dates are being determined.
The Boys Varsity Tennis match at home against Marion Harding is still ON for today but the start time has been moved back to closer to 4:45 or 5:00 PM.
The JV/V Softball games status is still being determined. We will keep everyone updated within the hour.

Good evening due to the number of flooded roads in our district Upper Sandusky schools will be on a two hour delay Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
ATTENTION: Due to the predicted severe weather threat for this afternoon (4/2) all athletic events, practices, and voluntary workouts have been CANCELLED. Please be safe and cautious this afternoon.
USHS/USMS ATHLETIC EVENT UPDATES:
Due to the extensive rain and the threat of severe weather this afternoon and evening, all USHS and USMS athletic events for today have been CANCELLED.
The Varsity Baseball and Softball games at home against Colonel Crawford have been tentatively rescheduled for Thursday, April 4th at 5:00 PM.
We will keep you posted on future delays throughout the week as we are sure there will be more of them to come.

Kole Snider: Offered to proofread another student's email for grammar, punctuation, spelling and most importantly tone before the student sent it out. Great Job looking out for your fellow classmates, Kole!
Cohen Shumaker: One very important life skill is to take initiative and self advocacy and this is exactly what Cohen did! He went to his teacher to be sure he understood the expectations. What a valuable moment for Cohen!
Chalis Moseley: Showed kindness to a teacher having a rough morning. When the teacher's water bottle spilled and made a huge mess, she stepped right up and helped out! Way to go, Chalis!
Alayna Huff: Alayna also assisted the teacher clean up the water mess. Her kindness and selflessness made the teachers day much better. Thank you, Alayna!
Aidan Amesquita: Stopped to help a student unlock her locker. She had just gotten a new lock and was having difficulty getting it to open. Way to be a RAM, Aidan!
Samantha Garverick: Noticed that another student had gotten paint on his sweatshirt sleeve. She took the initiative to help the student wash the paint of his sweatshirt. Way to look out for your fellow classmate, Samantha!!






USHS ATHLETIC EVENT UPDATES:
The USHS Varsity Track and Field teams will be in action tomorrow at the Carey Blue Devil Relays. Due to weather concerns, the start of the meet has been moved back to 11:30 AM. Please share this information with those who need to know.
The USHS Varsity Baseball team will be participating in the University of Cincinnati Classic tomorrow at the University of Cincinnati Baseball Field (99 W. Cory Blvd.). The Rams will play Williamsburgh at 11:00 AM and will conclude their day with a 1:00 PM first pitch against Cincinnati Wyoming. This is a great experience for our baseball team and we wish them the best of luck this weekend.

Here is the first in a series of emails recognizing our March Positive Office Referrals!
Ethan Shoemaker: Helped another student in need picking up her book bag after it fell and another student did not make an effort to help. He got up, moved around the table to help her out. Kudos, Ethan!
Robert Roszman: Is very helpful in class. He is always ready to lend a helping hand to his teacher, other students and jumps in whenever he thinks he can make things a little easier! Way to go, Robert!
Jamie Bair: Took charge of the classroom, getting students started on the assignment while waiting for the sub to arrive. The entire class turned in the assignment! Do I see a budding educator here?
Peyton Bosley: Stopped to help a student struggling to unlock her locker! Way to be helpful Peyton!
Josefina Enriquez: Went adobe and beyond in math class, completing 101 topics in ALEKS in one week! She is always in a happy mood and brings this happy attitude to class! A well deserved accolade, Josefina!
Madelyn Collins: As a teacher entered the building she dropped her water bottle, spilling water everywhere. Madelyn did not hesitate to help clean up the mess, helping to turn around the teachers rough morning! Way to be a RAM, Madelyn!






USHS ATHLETIC UPDATE:
The JV BB game against Carey has been postponed for today due to wet field conditions. A makeup date is being discussed.
All other athletic events are still ON for today.

Spring sports got started for the HS/JH track and field teams and the JV/V Baseball teams yesterday. All four track and field teams were victorious at Wynford while the JV and V Baseball teams each registered wins against Kenton to kickoff their seasons. The JV Softball team was also victorious with a 21-7 win over Tiffin Columbian in a last minute scheduled game. The Varsity Softball team lost a heartbreaker to Kenton 7-6 on a walk-off hit in the 7th.
Baseball and softball both get back in action tonight against Carey while the Varsity Track and Field teams will be at the Blue Devil Relays on Saturday.

CONGRATULATIONS to the USHS Lady Rams Varsity Softball team for starting their season off on the winner's side of the scoreboard. The Lady Rams walked it off against Bellevue on Saturday at the dome in Rossford. Senior Bailey Fox provided the fireworks with a game-winning single in the bottom of the 7th inning that propelled the Lady Rams to a 4-3 victory over the Redmen. The JV Lady Rams also won 11-8 on Saturday! Great (and unique) way to start the season. The Varsity Lady Rams will be back in action tomorrow at Kenton while the JV team will host Kenton. First pitch is at 5:00 PM. Ram Pride!
