Last day to use the Linq Connect online payment system is this Friday, April 26th. See the attached document for full details.

It is time to CELEBRATE GREAT KIDS!
Drew Castanien: Helped a student that was not feeling well by carrying her belongings to the office. What a guy!
Sean Robertson: Straightened up the classroom between classes putting all the desks back into neat rows! Thanks Sean!
Mason Shaffer: When he realized that his classmates did not pick up calculators on their way into class, he volunteered to get them and passed them out to the class. Thanks for helping the class run smoothly!
Caitlin Miller: Do I see TWO Positive Office Referrals here? One is for consistently helping another student in class and the other is for helping straighten up a mess of pencils in a classroom. Caitlin is definitely doing something right!
Jayden Kuentz: Jayden consistently goes out of his way to help others in class understand the material. But he doesn't just give the answers, he questions the student bringing them to the right conclusion on their own. Do I see a future teacher here? THIS is a RAM!
Tyler Kirby: Has made great strides in the vital skill of conversation and has struck up a friendship with Mrs. Clark in the office, who he stops in to talk to everyday. We love seeing your personality blossom, Tyler!

The OHSAA has designated this week as Officials Appreciation Week and the USHS Athletic Department would like to extend a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our local officials (OHSAA and others). Every year, these individuals attend clinics, participate in rules meetings and take tests in preparation for the season. During the season, these dedicated men and women take time away from their personal and work schedules and their families to provide our student-athletes the opportunity to play the games they love and contribute to the overall experience our student-athletes receive while participating in educational athletics. Please take the opportunity to thank an official today for what they provide to our student-athletes. Ram Pride!

Here are the USHS/USMS athletic events for the week. Please check the district athletic page for all future athletic events. Ram Pride!

Here are the April Positive Office Referrals, so far at least:
Kaleb Francis: Helped another student with an assignment in class that the student was struggling with. He did this without any prompting from his teacher! Way go go, Kaleb!
Parker Brown: Parker takes care of simple things in the classroom without being asked, making the classroom run more smoothly. Thanks, Parker!
Jack Ren: helped another student with his practice test during class, in essence helping to prepare the student for the upcoming test. What a great example of being a RAM!
Danny Thiel: Took time at the end of class to straighten up the room, pushing all the chairs in. This simple act of kindness set the next class up with a neat classroom. Way to go out of your way, Danny!
Braxton Swartz: Now listen to this one: On a recent trip to NYC with the HS choir Braxton single handedly carried a fellow student (in a wheelchair) up 3 flights of stairs so she could participate with the rest of the choir. He (among 3 others) then helped her down those stairs while seated in the chair. THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A RAM!
Kelby McGrew: Helped the teacher put away supplies left out by the previous teacher to use that room. Look at YOU, Kelby McGREW!!

USHS ATHLETICS UPDATE:
