ATTENTION: The second installment of the "All Heart Athlete of the Month" voting is now open to Ram Nation. The USHS Athletic Department is once again excited and proud to announce this very special recognition for our amazing student-athletes. The All-Heart Athlete of the Month is a great way to show some love and recognition for our student-athletes and what they do on and off the field of play. The way this will work is that every month, students at USHS will get the chance to nominate a student-athlete that they feel embodies all of the elements of the AHAOTM. Those elements include Hard work, Enthusiasm, Ambition, Responsibility, and Thoughtfulness. These elements are further described in the documents tab of our district website for your reference. Once the students have made their nominations, the field is narrowed down to the top three by vote of the staff at USHS. These top three male and female athletes are then sent to you, Ram Nation, for your vote. You can vote for one male and female student-athletes using the Google Form attached to this post. The final tally will result in who is crowned the All-Heart Athlete of the Month. If you have any questions about this process please contact the USHS Athletic Department and we will be happy to assist you. The final HALF PRICE STUDENT ticket sale of the year will take place tomorrow. These tickets will be for admission to Friday night's regular season finale against Buckeye Central. The price of these tickets will be $3.00 ($7.00 at the gate) and can be purchased at the high school main office tomorrow from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM. If you have any questions, please contact the athletic department. Finally, we will be recognizing our USHS Cheer Clinic participants as well as our youth football camp participants at tomorrow night's game. Wear your cheer clinic shirt or your camp shirts and you will be admitted free of charge. Please enter the game through the pass gate in order to prevent congestion at the ticket gate. As we near the end of another terrific fall sports season at USHS, the athletic department would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all of our event help and any individuals who have volunteered their time in any capacity to make our fall sports contests a success. From the ticket takers, PA announcers, scorekeepers, custodians, game security, concessions, and anyone else who played a part in helping this season, we sincerely appreciate your help. Good afternoon families and friends. This is just a reminder that tomorrow October 25 is teacher workday. The buses to Sentinel, Mohawk, and North Central will run as scheduled. In the morning, you may notice police vehicles at the school and that is because we are working with the Upper Sandusky Police Department on some of our emergency preparedness training. There is nothing to be alarmed about. Have a great weekend.

CONGRATULATIONS to two of our Lady Rams for earning All-League Honors in Volleyball. Senior Addy Newman earned 2nd Team All-N10 honors while fellow Senior Kaitlin Bennett received Honorable Mention honors. The USHS community is extremely proud of Addy and Kaitlin's athletic accomplishments but even more proud of how they represent our school and community off the court. Congratulations ladies on a great accomplishment and what a way to end your high school careers. Go Lady Rams! RAM PRIDE!

The monitoring will include the following features: student interactions with school-issued devices (e.g., email communications and web-browsing activity). The District generally monitors these features for the noncommercial education purpose of instruction, technical support, exam proctoring, and/or as required by the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) enacted by the US Congress in 2000. Additionally, these features are generally monitored as a necessary precaution for preventing and/or responding to threats to life or safety. Please note that the District has NOT implemented any new or changed monitoring services. This notice is a new requirement per Ohio Senate Bill 29 (“SB29”) that was passed by the Ohio General Assembly at the end of June 2024, was signed by Governor DeWine on July 24, 2024, and becomes effective on October 24, 2024.

CONGRATULATIONS to the USHS Varsity Girls Cross Country team for qualifying for the OHSAA DII Regional Championships on Saturday at Galion's Amanns Park. The Runnin' Lady Rams finished 3rd in the field which qualifies them for the next round. The Lady Rams were paced by Senior Hope Morris who finished 5th individually (19:58), Sophomore Jocelyn Leightey who finished 12th individually (20:42) and Sophomore Shiloh Shasteen who was 15th (20:57). The Lady Rams awesome season continues Saturday at Hedges Boyer park in Tiffin. Race time starts at 12:45 PM. On the boys side, CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Abe Baldwin who qualified individually for the Regional Championships by finishing 14th (17:11). Abe will race on Saturday at Hedges Boyer with a start time of 12:00 PM. Tickets for this events need to be purchased online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets.
