Missed a couple of Positive Office Referrals from before Thanksgiving and want to make sure we recognize the following students for showing the characteristics outlined in our Portrait of a Ram. Mason shows how to Communicate Effectively each day at both USHS and Sentinel. Mersadie showed Responsibility in helping clean up a mess she didn't make, Max showed Responsibility by staying on task, even when others did not, Carter shows Responsibility by always being prepared for class, and Aysia shows Responsibility by improving her work ethic in class. Mari showed the ability to Adapt and Grow by overcoming her own bad day to help others in her class.

Tyler, Oswaldo, Anthony, and Giselle were recognized for their Responsibility in helping the CPR instructor pack up and load materials after each class. Jaxtyn and Bailey showed Integrity for helping a teacher clean and sanitize desks. Blaine and Gavin also showed Integrity in the way they help other students.

Don't forget to make it out to The Barn tonight for the Lady Rams Basketball team's home opener against Colonel Crawford. JV tip is at 6:00 PM. We would love to see a packed house and a sea of Orange and Black tonight but if you can't make it to the game in person, don't worry, the OH Report will be livestreaming the game for those who can't make it. The USHS athletic department and Rams Athletic Boosters are excited to once again be partnering with the OH Report to livestream all of our varsity girls and boys basketball games this season. Also at tonight's game, the USHS National Honor Society will be running the 3 point shot contest at halftime of both the JV and Varsity games. There will also be the half court shot for cash again this year sponsored by Bringman & Clark Funeral Home. And finally, the Jackpot Ball Drop contest entry will be available for purchase at the concession stand tonight so come ready to support our USHS athletic programs! RAM PRIDE!

ATTENTION: The third installment of the "All Heart Athlete of the Month" voting is now open to Ram Nation. The USHS Athletic Department is once again excited and proud to announce this very special recognition for our amazing student-athletes. The All-Heart Athlete of the Month is a great way to show some love and recognition for our student-athletes and what they do on and off the field of play. The way this will work is that every month, students at USHS will get the chance to nominate a student-athlete that they feel embodies all of the elements of the AHAOTM. Those elements include Hard work, Enthusiasm, Ambition, Responsibility, and Thoughtfulness. These elements are further described in the documents tab of our district website for your reference. Once the students have made their nominations, the field is narrowed down to the top three by vote of the staff at USHS. These top three male and female athletes are then sent to you, Ram Nation, for your vote. You can vote for one male and female student-athletes using the Google Form attached to this post. The final tally will result in who is crowned the All-Heart Athlete of the Month. If you have any questions about this process please contact the USHS Athletic Department and we will be happy to assist you. The voting will end on Wednesday, December 4th at midnight so please get your votes in by that deadline. Thanks in advance for your participation in this special recognition.
