At tonight's volleyball game, we will be honoring and recognizing our JH, CYO, and youth volleyball teams in between the JV and Varsity contests. Any volleyball player wearing their uniform will be admitted free of charge.

PLEASE READ: Important information about the Boys and Girls Sectional Golf tournament. All tickets for the Boys and Girls OHSAA Sectional Golf tournament MUST be purchased online via Hometown ticketing. You can purchase these tickets as well as directions on how to get tickets can be found by clicking on the link: https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets. Sectional ticket prices are $8 per adult and $6 per student. Tickets will be emailed to you and will be scanned at the event or you can access them via the Hometown ticket app (downloaded to your phone). If you have any questions about tickets or you need assistance, please contact Athletic Director Blake England or visit the OHSAA ticketing website.
The girls sectional golf tournament is scheduled for tomorrow at Valley View Golf Course (2106 OH 598, Crestline, OH). Tee time is approximately 9:40 AM. The boys sectional golf tournament is scheduled for Thursday at Woussickett Golf Course (6311 Mason Rd, Sandusky, OH). Tee times are TBD. Go Rams and Lady Rams!

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Submit your Free/Reduced Price Meal Application today!
Currently 106 students still need their parents to submit an application for the 2023-24 school year in order to continue to receive free meals after October 6, 2023.
That means there is only 2 weeks left before those students will be charged full price for school meals. Unfortunately those charges will not be reversed if the family submits an application that is approved after October 6.
The Homecoming Parade will be Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30p stepping off from USMS and ending at the USHS complex. The Annual Powder Puff football game will take place at 7pm (or after the parade).

The USHS Athletic Department and administration of USEVS would like to take the opportunity to remind all spectators and fans of the expectations when attending athletic events. All K-8 students are EXPECTED to remain in the bleachers while the athletic event is being played. Students may get up and go to the concession stand or use the restroom during breaks such as halftime, end of quarters, or timeouts but should remain in the bleachers during game action. Constantly moving in and out of the bleachers is distracting and disrespectful to those spectators who are watching the event. Parents, you are EXPECTED to ensure any students in your care for the night, are abiding by these rules and being respectful of their surroundings and others. This includes preventing students from climbing under the bleachers at any time during the game. Game administrators have a lot of responsibilities during the course of the game and monitoring activity under the bleachers is not one of those responsibilities. We want to thank you all in advance for helping us make our athletic events, a great experience for our entire community. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in this process. We will also be introducing our 7th and 8th grade football players, coaches, and cheerleaders at halftime of tonight's varsity football game. Any JH football player, coach, or cheerleader will be admitted free of charge if they wear their jerseys. We ask that these students please enter through the pass gate and give your name to the ticket taker. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. We will also be recognizing our boys golf team, who recently won the 2023 N10 Championship, at the end of the 3rd quarter tonight.
Finally, we will be donating our 50/50 proceeds from tonight's game to the family of Ron Hall, the brother or our varsity football coach, Russell Hall. Ron is an adopted USHS football fan who is currently battling cancer. We will also be accepting donations at the concession stand for Ron as well. Help us make Ron's fight a little easier by donating tonight. Thanks for your support and Go Rams !
Tonight's varsity football game is our USHS Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. We will begin the festivities at 5:30 with an open house and meet and greet with our inductees. There will be a small reception area inside the weight room complex for any community members who wish to visit. The induction ceremony will take place at approximately 6:30 in front of the home bleachers. Our three inductees tonight are: Kent Collins (Class of 2002), Alex Falk (Class of 2009), and Clare Aubry (Class of 2008). We are excited and honored to welcome this year's inductees into our USHS Hall of Fame. Go Rams and Lady Rams!

Tomorrow, we will be recognizing our youth soccer program participants between the girls and boys varsity soccer games. All USYS soccer players will be admitted free of charge to both games if they wear their jerseys. Each division will be recognized between games and the players will get the opportunity to meet both varsity soccer teams. The girls game begins at 5:00 with the boys game scheduled for 7:00. CONGRATULATIONS to the Boys Golf team for claiming the 2023 N10 Championship! Another great season for the team and for Coach Treadway. Also, a special congratulations goes out to Junior Brock Montgomery for medaling and being named the N10 Golfer of the Year! We are proud of our student-athletes and wish them luck in the OHSAA tournament next week. Go Rams!
Tuesday Did You Know: Junior Grace Walton is currently tied for 1st place in the entire state of Ohio in goal assists (14). This is an amazing accomplishment for an amazing USHS student-athlete. Keep up the great work Grace and Go Lady Rams soccer!

"USMS Volleyball Gives Back"
USMS 7th & 8th grade volleyball teams will host River Valley on Saturday, Sept. 23rd at 10am. We are always looking for ways to give back to our community so join us in helping stock the food pantry. Admission to the game on Saturday will be FREE if you bring 3 canned food items. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our game while giving back to our community GO RAMS!"
