Good morning ram families. Due to a security situation at another school district in our county we were locked down our out of an abundance of caution. I have just received word from law-enforcement officials that is a safe for us to resume normal operations. Therefore, our lockdown has been lifted.

Today is Monday, October 2, 2023 and due to patchy fog Upper Sandusky schools will be on a two hour delay.

Congratulations to Kaitlin Bennett and Addy Newman for tying the school record for block assists in a game with 6 at their game last week against Lucas. Great job ladies and keep up the hard work.

Congrats to Junior Brock Montgomery for qualifying for the OHSAA D2 District Golf Championships next week. Brock shot a 78 which tied him for 9th overall in the field. Brock will compete on Thursday, October 5th at Eagle's Landing G. C. in Oregon. Good luck Brock!

Tonight is the Homecoming football game at USHS. We host the Colonel Crawford Eagles with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 and we would love to see a packed house. Prior to the game, we will be introducing our court and crowning our King and Queen at approximately 6:45 . At halftime of tonight's game, we will be recognizing our youth football program participants and coaches so any 4th-6th MYFL football player will be admitted free if they are wearing their jerseys. Finally, we are asking that all passholders attending tonight's game to please enter the game through the Pass Gate located on the east side of the complex. This is for tracking purposes. The homecoming parade will start at 6:30 PM tonight. The parade route is from the middle school, east on Finley, North on Sandusky, and west on Houpt to the complex. However, due to anticipated rain the Powderpuff game afterwards will be rescheduled. Again the parade is on, and Powderpuff will be rescheduled. Go Rams!

Good luck to our Lady Ram golfers in the OHSAA Sectional Golf Tournament this morning. At tonight's volleyball game, we will be honoring and recognizing our JH, CYO, and youth volleyball teams in between the JV and Varsity contests. Any volleyball player wearing their uniform will be admitted free of charge. *Ram Pride Challenge points available for today: 5 points (VB). See Mr. England or Mr. Landversicht for signatures.

All tickets for the Boys and Girls OHSAA Sectional Golf tournament MUST be purchased online via Hometown ticketing. Sectional ticket prices are $8 per adult and $6 per student. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Submit your Free/Reduced Price Meal Application today! Currently 106 students still need their parents to submit an application for the 2023-24 school year in order to continue to receive free meals after October 6, 2023. That means there is only 2 weeks left before those students will be charged full price for school meals. Unfortunately those charges will not be reversed if the family submits an application that is approved after October 6.

The Homecoming Parade will be Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30p stepping off from USMS and ending at the USHS complex. The Annual Powder Puff football game will take place at 7pm (or after the parade).
