Got Milk? Students can purchase milk as an Ala carte item. However, Ala Carte items cannot be charged. If your student packs a lunch and wants to buy a milk, send money for milk purchases. This includes students that qualify for free meals. We cannot offer milk free of charge. Only complete meals can be charged to a student's account.
There will be an informational meeting tomorrow, Thursday, August 21st at 5:00 PM in the USHS library for any student-athletes interested in swimming this winter. Parents are also welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting. If you have any questions or can not attend but intend to swim, please contact Athletic Director Blake England at blake_e@usevs.org.

Dear Parents/Guardians & Staff,
We are excited to welcome you back to another school year. For the Union (K-8) building parking lot we'd like to remind you of our procedures for the school year in order to first keep students safe and that we have traffic flowing in an orderly manner.
1. During AM and PM bus pickup absolutely no vehicles will be allowed to enter or exit the large parking lot. Once buses are in the parking lot all vehicles are to be parked until the buses leave. Parking is available at the smaller lot next to the football fields (corner of Hazel & Finley) if you need to leave early or pick up a student.
2. All students are to cross only at designated crosswalks. There should be no students or adults walking through the parking lots unless they are making their way to a bus. Please communicate this information to anyone picking up your child from school.

This Friday, August 22, USHS will be honoring our Senior fall sport student-athletes prior to the home Varsity Football game against Northmor. We are asking all Senior fall sport athletes and their chosen escorts to please check in at the athletic complex by 6:00 PM that night to get your pictures taken and lined up for introductions. We would like to start the ceremony at approximately 6:30 PM. If you have any questions about Senior Night festivities, please contact the USHS Athletic Office. We look forward to celebrating and honoring all of our Senior fall athletes for their dedication and contributions to USHS athletics on Friday night.

Tonight's JV Boys home soccer match against Mohawk has been moved to a 5:30 PM start. Please help spread the word.
Also, the Saturday, August 23 Varsity Boys and Girls home soccer matches against Kenton have been flipped. The Varsity Girls will play at 5:00 PM and the Varsity Boys will play at 7:00 PM. Both games will be played at the USHS stadium. Please make a note of this change and help spread the word.

First, please remember that our parking lot is all ONE WAY all the time now. Please enter the lot from Houpt Drive and head North along the back of the building. BOTH lanes will be heading in that direction - the RIGHT lane is for dropoff/pickup and the LEFT lane is a straight through lane leading to our main parking area at the North end of the building (by the gym). Please continue to SR 53 to exit the parking lot. The front drive (East side) is off limits as we need to secure this area for loading and unloading busses in a safe manner. One change is that our Administrative lot at the South end of the building (running along Houpt) has reversed directions. This will allow for a third dropoff/pickup area for your convenience. The first few days are always a bit nutty but it will settle down within a few days and should be a smooth operation from that point on.

Tomorrow is the 2nd Annual USHS Alumni Flag Football game. All participants are asked to report to the complex by 10:30 AM to sign the waiver and pick up your shirt. Please remember to bring your $20 registration fee as well. Game time is 11:00 AM and all are welcome to attend this free event.
Following the alumni game, the USHS Boys Soccer team gets their season underway with a 3:00 PM match against Willard at the USHS stadium.

Tomorrow (8-13-25) is the USHS orientation/schedule pick up day! The students will go through their stations and upon completion receive their schedules. FINAL FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED BY BOTH THE PARENT AND THE STUDENT FOR THEM TO RECEIVE THEIR SCHEDULES. Parents if you are staying to wait for them, you may wait in the gymnasium for them to be done. Seniors and Sophomores are 1p-3p, Juniors 3-5p and Freshmen/New Students 6p-7:30p with a parent meeting in the gymnasium at 7:30p. All students will have their yearbook/ID badge picture taken so please dress appropriately. The photographer will be using a green screen for a variety of backgrounds for you to choose from so avoid wearing green. Picture ordering information was sent to parent emails. Juniors and Freshmen will also have vision checks so if you have glasses please bring them along. No fees will be collected at this time unless you have past due fees you would like to take care of. Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
This is just a friendly reminder that USHS/USMS all-sport passes and football reserved seating tickets are now available for purchase. Please stop by the USHS office or visit the district webpage and search under Schools --> Athletics --> Menu --> Documents tab for pass information.
Also, don't forget that we are offering electronic passes and single game tickets through our new online ticketing platform this year. Just download the Hudl Fan app, type in Upper Sandusky and choose which pass(es) and/or game(s) ticket(s) you wish to purchase. Please remember that online purchases are subject to a processing fee (donated back to USHS athletics) as well as a credit card fee. Please use the flyer below if you would like to purchase online passes/tickets.
Please remember that USHS will still also accept cash purchases at the event gate. If you have any questions about tickets and/or passes, please contact the USHS athletic office.

ATTENTION High School Students (& parents)!!!
This Wednesday is schedule pick up day and Freshmen Orientation. Please dress nicely as your school photo will be taken and if you are a driver, bring your license, license plate number, year, make and model of your car. You will need to complete your parking pass application BEFORE you will be allowed to get your schedule and locker number!!
Remember, you need to visit each station on your checklist (will be given to you when you arrive) before you will receive your schedule.
FRESHMEN - orientation will begin promptly at 7:30 in the gym. Parents, we ask that you wait for your Freshmen students in the gym. Your students will learn the building by following their checklists 6-7:30 on their own. Schedules will be distributed after the orientation meeting and then you will have until 9 pm to walk through your schedule or set up your lockers.
No money will be collected on Wednesday.
