Eli B showed Adaptability as he has matured throughout his freshman year. Zach B showed Responsibility by working hard in the classroom. STATE PLACER!

USHS Senior wrestler Ethan L. has completed his high school career by standing on the podium in Columbus as a OHSAA DII State Wrestling placer. Ethan battled for three days and ended up finishing seventh overall in the 157 pound weight class. What a great way to end a storied career. Ram Nation is extremely proud of Ethan for his athletic accomplishments but even more proud of how he represents our community off the mats.

To recognize Ethan for this awesome accomplishment, the Upper Sandusky Fire Department and USPD will be providing an escort for Ethan back to USHS tonight around 11:00-11:30 PM. They will be meeting near Wyandot Lanes and traveling back to USHS. We know it's late but stop on out and help us welcome Ethan back to town.

Good afternoon, Due to power outage at the high school that is going to take some time to repair we will be doing a controlled release of high school students both drivers as well as bus riders to get them home safe. All high school practices and events are canceled for tonight. Students at Union, East, South, and the middle school will be released at their normal time. The storm that came through did not impact any of our buildings. All students and staff are safe.

STATE BOUND AGAIN

CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Senior Ram wrestler Ethan L. who once again will be making the trip down to the Schottenstein Center in Columbus for the OHSAA DII State Wrestling Championships this weekend. The Senior standout and one of USHS's best wrestlers, went 2-0 on the first day of competition at the DII District Tournament on Friday at Norwalk High School and then fought through tough competition on Saturday by finishing fourth to secure his second straight trip to the State Championships. Ethan will wrestle for his spot on the podium on Friday afternoon. What a great way to cap off a stellar career at USHS. Congratulations Ethan, Ram Nation is rooting for you.

Sophomore wrestler Braylon S. also had a strong performance at the District Championships by making it to Saturday but falling just short of a state bid. Great job Braylon.

Busy weekday mornings make it a challenge for many families to find time for a healthy breakfast. Fortunately, Upper Sandusky schools offer nutritious school breakfasts, complete with fruit and low-fat or fat-free milk, to ensure students are fueled for learning every school day. Breakfast is served daily at your child's school at 7:30 a.m (9:30 on 2-hour delay).

The 2026 NSBW campaign theme, “The Quest For School Breakfast,” reminds the entire school community that school breakfast provides a healthy and energizing start to the day for students. Studies show that students who eat school breakfast are more likely to:

• Reach higher levels of achievement in reading and math
• Score higher on standardized tests
• Have better concentration and memory
• Be more alert
• Maintain a healthy weight

A healthy breakfast at the start of the day is a great way to ensure students are nourished and ready to learn. National School Breakfast Week helps us educate parents and students about all the nutritious and delicious choices we offer.

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS AND STUDENTS!! Here are the events that will be rescheduled due to our recent school closings due to the repair of a water line and waiting for our water supply to be deemed safe.

Drive Your Tractor to School day: Rescheduled for Wednesday 3/4.
"Down at the Disco Dance: Will be rescheduled as soon as we find an open date in the calendar - most likely mid to late March
ACT Testing for Juniors: Rescheduled for Tuesday March 3rd. An email has been sent to the students school email and to the email listed in FinalForms for Junior parents with details.

We thank you for your patience as we navigate these weather delays/cancellations, technical and physical issues to reschedule these fun and important student events.

Good afternoon, The water line to the high school has been repaired. The water now has to undergo safety testing before it can used in the building and those results will not be in till later tomorrow. That makes it impossible for our food service department to provide meals to the buildings throughout the district. Upper Sandusky schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 27, 2026. The buses to Sentinel and Mohawk will run as scheduled.

The USHS Athletic Department would also like to send a very special CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Josh H. who, apart from earning First Team All-N10 honors, also earned DIV District 6 Honorable Mention honors this past week. The three sport standout for the Rams averaged 13.1 points in 22 games this season and will look to lead the Rams into a deep postseason run starting tomorrow against Galion. Another extremely well-deserved honor for one of USHS's finest student-athletes. Ram Nation is proud of Josh's athletic accomplishments but even more proud of how he represents our community and school off the court. Congratulations again Josh.
