CONGRATULATIONS goes out to several Ram baseball student-athletes who earned All-Conference Honors this season. Senior Josh H. and Junior Kasen G. earned 1st Team All-N10 honors while Sophomore Caine R. earned 2nd Team All-N10 honors. Junior Jonathan C. earned Honorable Mention All-N10 honors as well.

RAMS AND LADY RAMS POSTSEASON SUCCESS
The USHS Athletic Department would like to send out a huge CONGRATULATIONS to several Rams and Lady Rams spring sport teams who have had postseason success so far.
On Friday night, the USHS Lady Rams Track & Field team were crowned N10 Champions at the conference meet hosted by Carey High School. The Lady Rams scored an amazing 168 points to cruise to victory over Colonel Crawford who finished as runners-up with 153.5 points. This victory is the first conference title for the Lady Rams since 2018 and ended Colonel Crawford's run of five straight conference titles. An extremely impressive feat for our Lady Rams. Ram Nation is extremely proud of your success this season. Good luck at Districts this week!
Last night, the Lady Rams Softball team traveled to Elida to complete their suspended District Semifinal game against Liberty-Benton. The Lady Rams held on for a 2-0 victory to secure their first District Finals appearance since 2017. The Lady Rams will play for a chance to advance to Regionals against Lake at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 22 back at Elida High School. Tickets for this event are currently available and must be purchased online at ohsaa.org/ticekts for $10 Adult/$5.00 Student. Congratulations ladies and good luck at District Finals.
Finally, several members of our USMS Track & Field team qualified for the OHSAA Middle School State Championships hosted by Hilliard Darby High School this past Saturday where they competed against schools from all over the state (regardless of division). Several of our student-athletes earned podium spots on Saturday and represented USMS with sportsmanship and pride. Congratulations goes out to Jenna Irwin (2nd in HJ); Noah Bardon (3rd in PV); 4x200 relay team (Cohen England, Carson Solly, Drey Rosvanis, Wade Morris, 8th place); and Chloe Beeler (7th in 400). What a great way to end their season. Ram Nation is extremely proud of your accomplishments.

These students exemplified one of our Portrait of a Ram characteristics (Adaptability, Critical Thinking, Integrity, Communicate Effectively, Responsibility). Lily T showed Responsibility by helping a teacher, Adalee W showed Integrity by always being willing to help in the library, Carter H showed Responsibility by helping a sub with a computer issue, Zeke A showed Responsibility by completing classes in Acellus, Jolton S and Jay F showed Responsibility by helping teachers in the classroom, Camden B showed Responsibility by cleaning a mess that he didn't make in Art, and Mayson B showed Responsibility by helping the office with boxes.
Congratulations to the current and former staff members that our seniors chose to honor at the Celebration of Excellence ceremony last Thursday night. Each senior is allowed to choose someone to honor and these students did a great job with their presentations. Blake C honored Mr. Morris, Elaina C honored Mr. Arnold, Kyla C honored Mr. Tackett, Kloe E honored Senora Gottfried, Dylan O honored Mrs. Cameron, Sadie R honored Mrs. Morris, and Ethan S honored Mr. Morris, Mrs. Leezer, and Mr. Sherer.

The USHS Athletic Department would like to send a huge SHOUT OUT to several members of the USHS Football team who helped the Wyandot County Council on Aging set up for their annual fundraiser earlier this month. These gentlemen helped make the event a success and helped the agency raise over $31,000 for local senior citizens. Ram Nation is so incredibly proud of how our student-athletes help out in their communities and how they represent our school. Thanks again gentlemen.

The USHS and USMS Athletic Departments would like to send a huge CONGRATULATIONS to several USMS Track & Field student-athletes who have qualified for the OHSAA Middle School Track & Field State Championships tomorrow at Hilliard Darby High School. These individuals were among the top 16 best in the state in their events and will be competing for podium spots tomorrow. The field events begin at approximately 2:00 PM and the running begins at 1:00 PM. We are Division B and will follow Division A in all events. For those planning on attending the meet, tickets MUST be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets. The prices are $10 Adult/$5 Student. There is also a $5 per carload parking fee (cash only).
