It is THAT time of year again!! The Back to School commercials are in full swing, and we have begun the countdown to getting ready for a new school year! Here are the dates and times for schedule pickup and Freshman (& new student) orientation .
A note on School supplies for the High School: Purchase the basic items needed (pencils, pens and a multi-subject notebook to get started. Each teacher will give the specific supplies needed for their classroom the first week of school.
We are looking forward to having our halls full of RAMS again soon!

USHS ATHLETIC EVENT UPDATES
Due to a lack of team participation, today's Varsity Boys Golf match at Thunderbird Hills has been CANCELLED. There will not be a reschedule date.
Additionally, today's Varsity Girls Soccer game at Northwood will be played as a 9 v 9 format due to low number for our opponent. The game time is 5:00 PM for the girls game. The Varsity Boys Soccer team will follow at 7:00 PM.

USHS ATHLETIC SHOUT OUTS
The USHS Athletic Department would like to send a special SHOUT OUT to some pretty awesome student athletes on some pretty awesome accomplishments this past week.
First, CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Senior Goalkeeper Troy H. whose shutout win against Norwalk on Monday has given him the school record for career shutouts with 11. While Troy is now the new record holder, he has had the help of some really stellar defenses over his career so they deserve a SHOUT OUT as well. Congratulations Troy on this accomplishment.
Another CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the USHS Varsity Lady Rams Golf team who broke the team score school record with a 178 on Wednesday at home against Tiffin Columbian. The Lady Rams team of Jillian Stansbery, Cece Alspach, Addi Niederkohr, Hayden Guinther, and Avi Niederkohr broke the previous school record of 187 set just last season. Congratulations ladies on this accomplishment.
Finally, USHS athletic teams went a perfect 5-0 yesterday at five different events.
- Varsity Boys Golf (Champs of N10 West Shootout #3)
- Varsity Boys Soccer defeated Vermilion 3-1
- JV Volleyball defeated Ridgemont 2-0

For those planning to attend tonight's Varsity Football game at Northmor High School, here is some important information you need to know prior to arriving.
- Visiting fans should park at the event entrance of the new building. The address is 7819 State Route 19, Galion, OH. In your phone's GPS, it will most likely appear as "Northmor High School". As you walk to the stadium, there is a lit asphalt path that goes from this parking lot all the way to the football stadium. The path will lead you directly to the entrance gate at the new concession building, where you can purchase tickets or present a pass (N10 passes are accepted).
- Adult tickets are $8.00 and student tickets are $5.00. We do not offer a senior discounted rate. We accept cash only. The building you enter through also has our new public restrooms and our new concession stand. The concession stand will accept cash and Venmo. (ONLY the concession stand accepts Venmo. General admission is Cash Only).
- There will be a section of the stands designated for students. It will be blocked with caution tape. Feel free to take the caution tape down when several students have arrived. Students are not permitted in the end zones.
Please refer to the attached map for parking details. We hope to see Northmor jam packed with orange and black.

Due to today's athletic cancellations and postponements, there has been some rescheduling of events. Here is what we now have scheduled:
- Tomorrow's F/JV/Varsity Football scrimmage against Elgin has been MOVED to Marion Harding (420 Presidential Drive). The start time is still 6:00 PM. The reason for this move is to try and prevent excessive wear and tear on our stadium field after the excessive amount of rain we have received this week. Our thanks to Marion Harding Athletic Director Sean Kearns for allowing us to use their facilities.
- Today's cancelled Varsity Girls Soccer scrimmage against Kalida has been RESCHEDULED for tomorrow at 5:30 PM at the USHS soccer field. Please note the change in venue for this event.
- Today's JH Football scrimmage against Bluffton has been RESCHEDULED for tomorrow at 5:00 PM at the USHS football practice field (located directly behind the stadium).
Please help us spread the word on these changes. We apologize for any confusion that might have occurred with these changes. It has been a fluid situation and we are doing our best to try and give our student-athletes their opportunities to compete.
