The USHS Athletic Department would like to wish Ram Nation a very Happy Thanksgiving. Because we are thankful for our supportive community, and in the spirit of giving, the USHS Student Athlete Leadership Team would like to cordially invite you to our first annual RAMSgiving gift wrapping event. Parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles are invited to bring their unwrapped gifts to the USHS Athletic Complex on Saturday, December 6th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM where our student-athletes would love to help you with your holiday wrapping needs. Please refer to the attached flier for additional information about this free event. In addition, we are accepting donations of wrapping paper to help us with this event so if you would like to contribute in this capacity, you are welcome to drop off any donations at the USHS main office. We look forward to serving our community who continue to support our athletic programs.

Great time had by all before Thanksgiving break! Thanks to all of the staff who played, cheered and organized and helped from concession stands, to clean up afterwards!!

Union Elementary/USMS have partnered with WCC to provide after-school programs for our students—HUB Kids (K–3rd grade) and The HUB (4th–9th grade). These programs offer a safe, supportive place for students to go after school. Please consider making a donation to help us continue offering these valuable services. Your support makes a real difference!

ATTENTION RAM NATION

You are formally invited to our 2nd Annual Winter Ram Rumble which will take place next Friday, November 21st at 7:00 PM in the USHS gymnasium. This is a free community event where we will be introducing our winter sports student-athletes and their coaches as we gear up for another exciting season of USHS winter sports. Concessions will be available and community participation will be expected so bring the family out to "The Barn" on Friday for a great time.

As part of this Winter Ram Rumble, we also wanted to remind you that we are still accepting donations of used sports equipment for those in our community who might be in need. Those donation bins are located at USMS and in the main lobby of USHS. You will be able to bring any donated items to the Rumble as well. We hope to see you there!

Mrs. Morris's class partnered together on sorting examples of "types of hooks" for argumentative writing.

6th Graders this week Miss Coakley's room worked in pairs on vocabulary practice using technology with a program called Pear Deck. One student was typing a definition while the other student was illustrating the definition. At the end of the class period students had to vote on what they felt was the best illustrated definition for a review game later in the week.

RAMS IN THE COMMUNITY

We are so proud of our students for the work they put in in the classroom and on the field of play but it means even more when they lend a helping hand in the community. Yesterday, a handful of our USHS Football student athletes took time out of their day to help local community members move. This group of young men are great examples of what makes our school district and sports programs top notch. Thanks again gentlemen for your selflessness and generosity in helping your community. Please join Upper Sandusky Schools in honoring our veterans on November 11th at the Elks Lodge #83. Breakfast is from 8:30am to 9:30am and Parade is from 9:30am to 10:00am.
