In Ohio, April has been designated as the month of the military child. To celebrate these students and their families we are participating in the statewide spirit week. See attached flyer for details.
6th graders showed incredible focus, perseverance, and pride as they completed their state testing. For a full two hours, they read, wrote, and gave their very best effort to demonstrate what they know! 🧠 Academic success isn’t just about the final score; it’s about dedication, resilience, and the willingness to push through challenges. 6th graders showed all of that and more today. 💪🏻

Nominations for the USHS Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be closing soon so if you know anyone deserving of induction, don't miss the deadline of May 24th. Candidates must be a graduate of USHS, a former coach at USHS, or an administrator at USHS and must have distinguished themselves through their athletic or administrative accomplishments, exploits, and achievements while at USHS and beyond. Please note that a nomination does not mean induction but all nominations will be kept on file to be considered for future years. We will have a bake sale next week for students in grades 6th, 7th and 8th grade after lunch. Each item will be $1, and all proceeds will go toward supporting a 6th-grade student’s medical expenses.

"Summer is just around the corner! Erika Holloway is offering new and improved social-emotional workshops for kids this summer. All workshops will be held in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, but are not limited to USEVS students. The exact location will be shared once the registration form is submitted.
This summer, the workshops will be hands-on and occur outdoors (weather permitting). Workshops include Kids Glow Yoga, Iced Coffee & Vision Boards, Nurturing Plants and Our Minds, Building Self-Esteem, Expressive Painting, and Nature Therapy. The goal of these workshops is to provide a safe space for kids to express themselves, boost self-esteem, and equip them with the tools they need to navigate challenges both in school and in their personal lives.
