CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the Varsity Lady Rams Cross Country team who were champions of the Bucyrus Elks Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. The Runnin' Lady Rams were paced by Junior Jocelyn Leightey who finished second in the race with a time of 20:16.10. Fellow Junior Abigail Ault was fourth with a time of 20:48.10 and Freshman Madison Miles turned in a ninth place finish with a time of 21:20.20.
The Varsity Rams Cross Country team were runners-up at Bucyrus with Sophomore Franklin Arnold leading the Rams with a ninth place finish in a time of 17:29.90. Junior Henry Minehart and fellow Sophomore Andrew Leightey were close behind taking 11th and 12th place (17:37 and 17:42.10). Another great performance by our USHS Cross Country teams. Both teams will be back in action on Saturday at the Stars, Stripes, Lights Invite hosted by Seneca East.

This Friday, August 22, USHS will be honoring our Senior fall sport student-athletes prior to the home Varsity Football game against Northmor. We are asking all Senior fall sport athletes and their chosen escorts to please check in at the athletic complex by 6:00 PM that night to get your pictures taken and lined up for introductions. We would like to start the ceremony at approximately 6:30 PM. If you have any questions about Senior Night festivities, please contact the USHS Athletic Office. Also, the Saturday, August 23 Varsity Boys and Girls home soccer matches against Kenton have been flipped. The Varsity Girls will play at 5:00 PM and the Varsity Boys will play at 7:00 PM. Both games will be played at the USHS stadium. Please make a note of this change and help spread the word.

Tomorrow is the 2nd Annual USHS Alumni Flag Football game. All participants are asked to report to the complex by 10:30 AM to sign the waiver and pick up your shirt. Please remember to bring your $20 registration fee as well. Game time is 11:00 AM and all are welcome to attend this free event.
Following the alumni game, the USHS Boys Soccer team gets their season underway with a 3:00 PM match against Willard at the USHS stadium.

This is just a friendly reminder that USHS/USMS all-sport passes and football reserved seating tickets are now available for purchase. Please stop by the USHS office or visit the district webpage and search under Schools --> Athletics --> Menu --> Documents tab for pass information.
Also, don't forget that we are offering electronic passes and single game tickets through our new online ticketing platform this year. Just download the Hudl Fan app, type in Upper Sandusky and choose which pass(es) and/or game(s) ticket(s) you wish to purchase. Please remember that online purchases are subject to a processing fee (donated back to USHS athletics) as well as a credit card fee. Please use the flyer below if you would like to purchase online passes/tickets.

USHS ATHLETIC WEEKLY RECAP
It was a great start to the fall sports season as several teams got underway with their seasons. The highlight of the week is our Lady Ram Golf team who went a perfect 4-0 this past week and are off to the best start in program history. What a great start to the season for our Lady Ram Tincuppers. Here is a recap of the other athletic action:
