CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Senior Addy Newman who broke the school record for career aces last night in the Lady Rams' five set victory over Wynford. Addy's precision serving over the last four years has surpassed USHS alum Kalene Johnson's record of 174. Addy now sits at 178 career aces and with many more games still to play in her high school career. Congrats again Addy on another outstanding athletic achievement. Ram Nation is proud of you.

CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Brock Montgomery for winning the DII Sectional Boys Golf Championship yesterday at Moose Landing GC in Ottawa. Brock shot a 70 to win by a single stroke and advance to next week's OHSAA DII District Championships held at Maumee Bay State Park GC in Oregon, Ohio. Brock's spectacular high school career continues and he will look to make another trip to the state tournament next week. He will compete on Thursday, October 3 with a TBD tee time. Congrats again Brock. Ram Nation is rooting for you!

USHS ATHLETIC SCHEDULE CHANGE
The JV Boys Soccer game will start tonight at approximately 7:30 PM at the stadium. The original schedule and post said 6:00 PM. Please help spread the word. Thanks.
Also, the Varsity Girls Soccer game at Mansfield Christian will start at 5:30 PM. The game will be broadcast on the OH Report tonight for anyone wishing to watch. The OH Report indicated that the game started at 7:00 PM but that is inaccurate. Please help spread the word.

CONGRATULATIONS to Junior Rylee McCreary who set a new school record for fastest goal scored on the team's way to a 4-0 victory over league rival Ada. Rylee's goal came just nine seconds into the game which means she scored the goal faster than it will take for you to read this post. What an awesome accomplishment by a pretty awesome USHS student-athlete. The USHS community is extremely proud of Rylee's athletic accomplishments but even more proud of how she represents our school and community off the pitch. Congrats again Rylee and Go Lady Rams!

USHS ATHLETIC SCHEDULE CHANGE
Due to rain, today's Varsity Girls Golf Sectional Tournament has been POSTPONED until tomorrow. Tee times start at 9:00 AM at Fostoria Country Club.
The Varsity Boys Golf Sectional Tournament will take place on Thursday, September 26th at Moose Landing GC in Ottawa. Tee times start at 9:00 AM.
Tickets for both of these events can be purchased online at https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets.
Finally, the Freshman Volleyball game against Wynford on Thursday, September 26th has been CANCELLED. The JV match will begin at 5:30 PM.

CONGRATULATIONS to Seniors Arden Stansbery and Cy Young for earning 2nd Team All-N10 Honors in Boys Golf. Arden scored 87.0 points on the season and finished in 15th place while Cy scored 64.7 points and finished 13th at the N10 Championships at Woody Ridge GC on Wednesday. Also, congratulations goes out to Sophomore Seth Smith who earned Honorable Mention All-N10 Honors. The USHS community is extremely proud of Arden, Cy, and Seth's athletic accomplishments but even more proud of how they represent our school and community off the course. CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Brock Montgomery for earning 1st Team All-N10 Honors as well as being named the N10 Player of the Year for the third straight year in Boys Golf. Brock scored 165.5 points on the season and topped off his regular season as the overall medalist at the N10 Championships at Woody Ridge GC on Wednesday. The USHS community is extremely proud of Brock's athletic accomplishments but even more proud of how he represents our school and community off the course. USHS Ticket Announcement: The USHS athletic department will be once again be offering HALF PRICE STUDENT tickets for sale tomorrow! These tickets will be for admission to Friday night's home football game against Wynford. The price of these tickets will be $3.00 ($7.00 at the gate). Students can go to their school's office to purchase these tickets and show them at the gate on Friday. With the price of admission going up, we wanted to offer this option to allow students to come out and support our Rams. If you have any questions, please contact the athletic department. RAM PRIDE!

CONGRATULATIONS to Junior Alayna Huff for earning 2nd Team All-N10 Honors in Girls Golf. Alayna had a season average of 54.14 and shot a 50-51 at yesterday's N10 Championships at Woody Ridge GC for a 13th place finish. The USHS community is extremely proud of Alayna's athletic accomplishments but even more proud of how she represents our school and community off the course. USHS/USMS ATHLETIC CHANGES:
Here are some upcoming changes to the USHS/USMS athletic calendar that we wanted you to know about.
The 7th & 8th grade football game at Carey that was originally scheduled for 8/27 has been rescheduled for 10/15 starting at 5:00 PM (7th grade).
The 7th & 8th grade home football game against River Valley that was scheduled for 10/15 has been rescheduled for 10/8 starting at 5:00 PM (7th grade)
Tomorrow's JV/Varsity Volleyball game against Carey will be HOME starting at 5:30 PM. (This game was switched with Carey on 8/27).
The Freshman Football game on Monday, September 23rd will now be against Lexington (originally Wynford) with a start time of 5:00 PM.
The Varsity Girls Soccer home game against Columbus Grove on 9/28 has been pushed back to a noon start time (originally 11:00 AM start time). Likewise, the Varsity Boys Soccer home game against River Valley has been moved back to a 2:00 PM start time (originally 1:00 PM start time).
We will keep you posted on any future changes to the athletic schedule(s).

2024 USHS Homecoming Parade Info! Go Rams!!

ATTENTION all Junior High, CYO, and youth volleyball players.
Tonight we will be honoring all of our future Lady Ram volleyball stars prior to the start of the Varsity Volleyball game against Buckeye Central. Any middle school, CYO, or Lady Ram volleyball players who wear their jerseys or T-shirts to the game will be admitted free of charge. We will introduce these ladies and their coaches following the conclusion of the JV game (start time at 5:30 PM). We look forward to recognizing your efforts as a community tonight.
