Food Service Announcement For the past two years, Upper Sandusky Exempted Village Schools has participated in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) waivers that allowed our district to serve free meals to all students. These USDA waivers expired on June 30, 2022. This means at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, food service programs nation-wide will return to pre-pandemic operations. School meals will still be available to all students; however, they will not be free to all students. Breakfast and lunch prices for school year 2022-2023 are as follows. Breakfast: K-12 $1.50 Lunch: K-5 $2.95, 6-8 $3.10, 9-12 $3.25 It is very important for each family to complete a Free and Reduced- Price Meal Application. Eligibility for free and reduced-priced lunch is based on federal income guidelines or participation in other programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Ohio Works First. Each student will receive an application however, only one application is necessary for each family as all Upper Sandusky School’s students in the household should be listed on one application. For questions or additional information please contact Gina Lewis, Food Service Director at 419-294-2306 or email gina_l@usevs.org

IT’S TIME TO REGISTER/REENROLL FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR! Registration/Re-enrollment is now open for the 2022-2023 school year for all RETURNING students in the Upper Sandusky School district. You may now log in to your Final Forms account and update your information. Be sure to sign each form, even if no changes are made! This needs to be done every year, and MUST be done by the first day of school. https://uppersandusky-oh.finalforms.com/ Students NEW to the district need to make an appointment at the Superintendent’s office to enroll. This is done by appointment only. No walk-ins will be accepted. Call 419-294-2306 to make an appointment. Documents required for enrollment are: birth certificate, immunization record, proof of residency, and any custody documents that may apply. It is best to enroll as soon as possible to allow time to obtain your previous school records, and to give the school administration time to get the child on a class roster and prepare the classroom for the additional students. Please call the Central Office (419-294-2306) if you have any questions, or, email Linda Barth (Registrar) at barth_l@usevs.org.

They will be disabled over the summer unless the student is involved with summer school.
