According to PowerSchool, we should be good to go with Parent Portal access. They said parental usernames and/or passwords should NOT change or be wiped during the "End of Year" process (when the server goes from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025). So, if a parent(s) cannot log in, the first thing to do is click the "Forgot Password" link and request a new password. That password reset email can take up to 10 minutes to be delivered. This process is always much easier when using a traditional desktop or laptop computer versus a smartphone.
Parents/students should click on the "State Assessments" tab on the left menu within the parent portal to view state test results.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to resolve the login issue.
We are working with PowerSchool Support on an ongoing issue with PowerSchool Parent Portal and problems related to logging in/passwords, etc. Please do NOT attempt to log in until we can get this resolved. We will send out another email once this issue has been resolved.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
Here is the official 2024-2025 School Calendar in case you missed it being posted earlier. Any questions, call the Central Office at 419-294-2306.

Parents,
Thank you so much for attending the Celebration of Learning event. It meant so much to your students and we love having parents, grandparents and family members in the building. Thank you for your time and trusting your children with us during the school day. Be sure to celebrate with them how much they have grown this year! It was so much fun to see K graduation, 1st grade with their tri-fold boards, 2nd grade Living Museum and 3rd grade awards.
As always please feel free to reach me via email at tim_w@usevs.org if you have any questions, concerns or input. I'd love to do this again next year and your feedback is valuable.

Please be sure to check you student's lunch balance.

Dear Parents,
The 1st annual K-3 Celebration of Learning Open House is almost here! You are invited to attend this Open House on Wednesday, May 15th starting at 1pm-2pm. Students are free to leave with parents after signing out with the teacher.
Some logistical notes:
1. Please park in the far parking lot next to the football practice field and walk to the building. The recess, gym and auditorium doors will be open . If this parking lot is full then use the building lot or Walker street parking.
2. The teachers will let you know where to go for your child's class. Each grade level is doing a different activity. Some are in the classroom, others are in the gym and some are in the auditorium.
3. After you've visited and your child has shown you how much they've learned please sign out with the classroom teacher if you will be leaving with them. Then feel free to join us in the cafeteria for some cookies and juice.
Thanks so much for joining us and being a partner in your child’s education. I’ve enjoyed getting to know each of them this year and I hope you take the time to celebrate with them just how much they have learned.
Sincerely,
Dr. Watson

Parents please see attached details for a free summer camp hosted by the NCOESC. Space is limited and it is for K-3 students.

It's teacher appreciation week! It's impossible to put into words how much the teachers and staff at Union care about your children. I'm proud of the hard work they put in every day. Be sure to let your student's teacher know how much they are appreciated!
