Per Ohio law our school district is required to provide annual child abuse training to all students K-6. When you registered in Final Forms you were given the option to opt your child out of this requirement.
If you have not done so as yet OR would like to opt out please write a note to your child's teacher with your child's full name requesting that they be opted out of this requirement. Our school counselors will begin working with classrooms beginning February 9th. Thanks for your help.

Dear Parents,
I extended the Read-A-Thon prize shop since we had so many days off. Just keep in mind that you only have 6 days to spend those rewards if you have them. After that, the store closes and everything will be shipped to the school where I will distribute them to students. Thank you!

Our readers K-5 read a grand total of 55,932 minutes and raised over $5,500! That is incredible. Students, remember you have 9 days to spend your "Rat bucks" in the reward store. When we are back in school I will be distributing prizes to students who earned instant prizes with either minutes or sponsors. Enjoy your day off and stay warm. We can't wait to host another Read-A-Thon next year!
Thanks again,
Dr. Watson

Today at 10:05 we had a student with a medical emergency. At that time we put the school on an instructional lockdown for 16 minutes so that EMS personnel could get in the building quickly. At no time was anyone in danger. Safety is a top priority. Please call Mrs. Parrott with any questions.
We encourage families and community members to take a moment to read and stay connected.

We are closing out Right to Read week and every student will receive a book and a reading buddy today. Our read-a-thon will remain open one more week and I'll distribute prizes after next week. Please remember if you have "Rat bucks" from sponsors then you can order items from the reward store.
As of this writing we have raised over $4000! Students have surpassed our goal and this week alone have read 40,752 minutes! That is more than 100 minutes per student. Thank you so much for your support of our school and this event. 🧡 🖤

It only takes a minute or two, and your support will greatly assist us in meeting our financial goals. Funds are used for future schoolwide activites. For example, in the past they have paid for Right to read snacks, the puppet and magic shows and craft materials.
Thank you for your help in reaching our goal.
