E Kilbride showed the ability to Communicate Effectively by helping in his class. R Lima-Sanchez showed Responsibility by cleaning up another students mess instead of the teacher.

OHSAA TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS The Lady Rams Softball team will travel to Clear Fork for an OHSAA Division IV Sectional Final game on Tuesday, May 13th. First pitch is at 5:00 PM. Tickets for this event are now available for purchase online at https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets. The Rams Tennis team will begin their postseason play on Thursday, May 15 at Shelby High School. Start time is TBD. Tickets for this event are not yet available for purchase online but will be on Monday at https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets. The Rams and Lady Rams Track and Field teams will compete at the OHSAA DII District Championships on Thursday and Saturday, May 22 and 24 at Oak Harbor High School. Start time for field events will be 4:00 PM (May 22) and 10:30 AM (May 24). Tickets for this event are not yet available for purchase. The Rams Baseball team will have their tournament draw on Sunday and will know their postseason assignment then. Stay tuned for more details. RAM PRIDE!

Summer is almost here! Erika Holloway is providing summer social-emotional workshops for students ages 5-11 every Tuesday in June and July! Summer social-emotional groups provide a nurturing environment for children to develop essential life skills during the break from regular school activities. All workshops will occur at Upper Sandusky Counseling (625 N Sandusky Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351). *Few spots remaining*! Tomorrow is our FFA's annual Elementary Ag day! Our Senior students will be teaching agriculture based lessons to our elementary students in the North parking lot near the Ag room. In order to accommodate the displays and activities set up for the children, the drive from Houpt Drive to the North lot will be CLOSED 8-2:30 tomorrow. Those HS students that arrive late or leave early during the school day will need to change your routes tomorrow and use caution. Thank you!!

ATTENTION: The seventh installment of the "All Heart Athlete of the Month" voting is now open to Ram Nation. The USHS Athletic Department is once again excited and proud to promote this very special recognition for our amazing student-athletes. The All-Heart Athlete of the Month is a great way to show some love and recognition for our student-athletes and what they do on and off the field of play. The way this will work is that every month, students at USHS will get the chance to nominate a student-athlete that they feel embodies all of the elements of the AHAOTM. Those elements include Hard work, Enthusiasm, Ambition, Responsibility, and Thoughtfulness. These elements are further described in the documents tab of our district website for your reference. Once the students have made their nominations, the field is narrowed down to the top three by vote of the staff at USHS. These top three male and female athletes are then sent to you, Ram Nation, for your vote. You can vote for one male and female student-athletes using the Google Form attached to this post. The final tally will result in who is crowned the All-Heart Athlete of the Month. If you have any questions about this process please contact the USHS Athletic Department and we will be happy to assist you. David Headings is retiring! Come help celebrate his years at USHS by attending the Alumni Tribute Cabaret Saturday, May 3rd! Several former students dating back to the class of 1996 will be performing. If you were ever in the group, you are welcome to come up on stage for the traditional finale of "Love and Hope". Admission is a suggested donation of $5 with proceeds benefiting the auditorium and drama dept. Doors open at 6:30p with performances beginning at 7pm and a small reception to follow. The outside auditorium hallway doors will be used for this event. He would love to see you there!
