According to PowerSchool, we should be good to go with Parent Portal access. They said parental usernames and/or passwords should NOT change or be wiped during the "End of Year" process (when the server goes from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025). So, if a parent(s) cannot log in, the first thing to do is click the "Forgot Password" link and request a new password. That password reset email can take up to 10 minutes to be delivered. This process is always much easier when using a traditional desktop or laptop computer versus a smartphone. Parents/students should click on the "State Assessments" tab on the left menu within the parent portal to view state test results. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to resolve the login issue.

We are working with PowerSchool Support on an ongoing issue with PowerSchool Parent Portal and problems related to logging in/passwords, etc. Please do NOT attempt to log in until we can get this resolved. Dear Ram and Lady Ram Athletics Community, The USHS athletic department and the Upper Sandusky Youth Soccer Board would like to take a moment to share a unified message to address some of the issues that have been the topic of discussion over the past week. First, WE would like to offer an apology for any misunderstanding or miscommunication that occurred. That was not intentional in any way and WE will work to improve this in the future. Next, WE want to thank everyone who shared their thoughts and opinions in a positive and meaningful manner. Your input, when shared responsibly, helps us guide our decisions about the direction of our sports programs. Secondly, although the conversations haven’t been productive or beneficial at times, WE are encouraged by the support shown by our community for our sports programs. Athletics are meant to be a positive and unifying force and WE are determined to rally our community through athletics. Ultimately, it’s our kids that WE are focused on and that is why WE believe this message is important. At this time, the discussion about a new softball facility has been moved to a long-term option that will continue to be investigated and communicated with the school district. Further discussions about this project will include transparent communication with all parties involved in a way that will ensure everyone has a voice in order to continue to provide athletic opportunities for all of our youth. Moving forward, WE are committed to working together for the benefit of our youth in all capacities. This includes sharing resources and facilities in order to make the athletic experiences of our youth the best it can be. But most importantly, WE want to establish open, honest, and positive communication with our community. WE also want to encourage our community members to do the same. If you have any questions or concerns about athletic programs, please contact the appropriate sources. Social media should be a place to celebrate the accomplishments of our athletic programs and not the place to raise concerns or spread negativity. It doesn’t help solve anything. Thank you all again for your continued support of our athletic programs and for helping us continue to focus on giving our kids the best that we can. This is a great opportunity for the gridiron greats of yesterday to get together to reminisce about the glory days and to engage in some friendly competition for bragging rights and to show the Rams of today "how we did things back in the day". This event is free to the public and will take place on Saturday, August 17th at noon at the USHS stadium. Come out and support Ram athletics in a unique way. Dear Parents, If you have ordered a yearbook for your MS student. The yearbooks are available for pick up tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4th, or Thursday, June 5th from 9am-2:00pm. If you are unable to pick up the yearbook during that time, the yearbook will be sent home with your child at the start of school. Thank you

Sales Tax Holiday - update

Attention USHS and USMS student athletes. There are still times available to get your son/daughter's physicals scheduled this summer. Wyandot Memorial Hospital is once again offering sports physicals for all USHS and USMS students who are planning on playing fall sports this upcoming season. The dates for these physicals are June 3-5 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM by APPOINTMENT ONLY and the cost is $20 with all proceeds going directly to the USHS Ram Booster Club. DEADLINE APPROACHING This is a friendly reminder that the nomination deadline for the USHS 2024 Hall of Fame Class is this Friday, May 24th. Candidates must be a graduate of USHS, a former coach at USHS, or an administrator at USHS and must have distinguished themselves through their athletic or administrative accomplishments, exploits, and achievements while at USHS and beyond. Please note that a nomination does not mean induction but all nominations will be kept on file to be considered for future years. If you would like to nominate a candidate for induction, please complete the nomination form found in the attached link or you can complete a paper copy of the nomination form at the high school athletic office. The 2024 USHS Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted at the home varsity football game on August 30th. CONGRATULATIONS to USMS 8th grader Ashton Clark for qualifying for the OHSAA Middle School State Track and Field Championships! Ashton qualified in pole vault and will vault for a podium place on Saturday, May 11th at 9:00 AM at Hilliard Darby High School.
