GOOD LUCK tonight to our Rams Football team as they head into playoff action at Sandusky Perkins. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM. There will be a police and fire truck escort leaving the athletic complex at 3:30 PM this afternoon if anyone would like to come out and support the team as they head off.
For those planning on attending tonight's game. Please use 3700 South Avenue as your destination. Reminder that tickets for the game can be purchased online (recommended) at www.ohsaa.org/tickets or they may be purchased at the door (CASH ONLY). Ticket prices are set by the OHSAA at $11 adult/$5 student (K-12).
For those unable to attend tonight but still want to root on your Rams from afar, the game will be broadcast on 100.9 Coast Country and livestreamed on YouTube using this link https://www.youtube.com/live/BTewclnm8aY?feature=shared.

Reminder: Luggage check in for the 8th Grade Gettysburg PA/Washington DC Trip is tonight from 4:00-6:00 in the Middle School Cafeteria.
The final HALF PRICE STUDENT ticket sale of the year will take place tomorrow. These tickets will be for admission to Friday night's regular season finale against Buckeye Central. The price of these tickets will be $3.00 ($7.00 at the gate) and can be purchased at the high school main office tomorrow from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM. If you have any questions, please contact the athletic department.
Finally, we will be recognizing our USHS Cheer Clinic participants as well as our youth football camp participants at tomorrow night's game. Wear your cheer clinic shirt or your camp shirts and you will be admitted free of charge. Please enter the game through the pass gate in order to prevent congestion at the ticket gate. We look forward to seeing a packed house at the stadium tomorrow night. Go Rams!

Please be aware that the District, either directly or through a technology provider, is electing to generally monitor all school-issued devices (as that term is defined by R.C. 3319.325). The monitoring will include the following features: student interactions with school-issued devices (e.g., email communications and web-browsing activity). The District generally monitors these features for the noncommercial education purpose of instruction, technical support, exam proctoring, and/or as required by the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) enacted by the US Congress in 2000. Additionally, these features are generally monitored as a necessary precaution for preventing and/or responding to threats to life or safety.
Please note that the District has NOT implemented any new or changed monitoring services. This notice is a new requirement per Ohio Senate Bill 29 (“SB29”) that was passed by the Ohio General Assembly at the end of June 2024, was signed by Governor DeWine on July 24, 2024, and becomes effective on October 24, 2024.

REMINDER TO ALL USHS/USMS WINTER SPORT ATHLETES AND PARENTS
Our annual winter sports informational meeting will take place on Monday, October 21st at 7:00 PM in the USHS gymnasium. We will be combining our JH and HS meetings again this year out of respect for your time. The general information meeting will begin at 7:00 PM followed by sport specific meetings with coaches. Schedules, team rules, and other important information will be available at this meeting. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the USHS Athletic Department. We hope to see you there!

This week was designated as Officials Appreciation Week by the OHSAA and the USHS Athletic Department would like to send a huge THANK YOU to ALL of our dedicated sports officials who have officiated one of our many sporting events. Every year these individuals take time away from their personal schedules and their families to provide our student-athletes the opportunity to play the games they love and contribute to the overall experience our student-athletes receive while participating in athletics. We greatly appreciate this sacrifice and we respect the services they provide. So, if you see an official or know someone who takes on this responsibility, please make sure you thank them.

Annnnddd he's off to the OHSAA DII State Golf Championships this weekend at Firestone Country Club in Akron. Senior Brock Montgomery was "clapped out" of the building by his peers this morning as he heads off to compete one last time on the biggest stage in high school sports. Also, the Varsity and JH Boys and Girls Cross Country teams will be in action at the N10 Championships hosted by Seneca East tomorrow morning. The meet starts at 10:00 AM (HS boys) followed by HS girls at 10:40 AM, JH boys at 11:20 AM, and JH girls at 11:50 AM. Tickets for this event will be $5 and all proceeds will go directly to the N10 conference. T-shirts will also be available for purchase as well. Good luck to our Runnin' Rams!

Join Upper Sandusky Schools in our Veterans Day Celebration happening Monday, November 11th at Upper Sandusky High School. All Veterans are invited to join us for breakfast from 8:15am to 9:00am.
