Upper Sandusky Middle School

ATTENTION all USHS and USMS fall sport parents/guardians. In an attempt to make the communication process more efficient and out of respect for your time, this year’s fall sports preseason informational meeting will NOT be held in person. Instead, all the required and pertinent information has been added to Final Forms as an additional form that parents/guardians must sign off on prior to the start of the sports season. This form is titled “Fall Sport Parent Meeting Information” within the parent’s Final Form portal and is available for viewing now. Please refer to this information as needed for any sports-related questions throughout the season.

Additionally, each individual fall sport head coach will be reaching out with information about their preseason meeting soon. So please be looking out for this information. If you do not hear from your student-athlete’s coach by August 1st, please contact your student-athlete’s athletic director. If you have any questions, concerns, or need clarification about this change, please feel free to contact USHS Athletic Director Blake England or USMS Athletic Director Catie Richman. Our hope is this will be a positive change and will provide our fall sports families with better communication concerning important sports information. Dear Parents, If you haven't already- you will be receiving your child's grade card this week. Grade cards were mailed home on Thursday of last week. If your child has a balance for school fees it is highlighted at the top of the grade card, please come in this week to pay those. Office hours are 9-2pm Monday-Thursday.

REMINDER Sports physicals are being offered by Wyandot Memorial Hospital for any USMS/USHS student-athletes going into 7-12th grade. The dates for these physicals are June 2-4 from 3:00-6:00 PM BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. All physicals are $20 with ALL proceeds going directly to our Rams Athletic Boosters Club. 7th and 8th grade band and choir students rocked their concert tonight! We recognized Mr. Headings 33years in education and wished him a relaxing retirement!

Summer is almost here! Erika Holloway is providing summer social-emotional workshops for students ages 5-11 every Tuesday in June and July! Summer social-emotional groups provide a nurturing environment for children to develop essential life skills during the break from regular school activities.
