🧠🎉Math Success🧠🎉

This week in Mrs. Dillon-Barker's Learning Center, they had fun celebrating Cinco de Mayo with some authentic Mexican candy that Ms. Ana brought in for the students to try! 🌮🍬 Students sampled Duvalín, a creamy frosting candy, and Limón 7, a lemon and salt powder candy + sucker. There were definitely some funny reactions! 😄 They also welcomed three of the incoming 5th grade students for a visit so they could meet next year’s teacher, paraprofessionals, and classmates. What a great time getting to know each other while playing Uno, and after a competitive battle down to the final card… Uno champion was future LC student Sabrina! They loved spending time together and making the
future students feel welcome! 🏆♥️

Mrs. Dillon's have been learning about 2 and 3 dimensional shapes. The students became experts through several hands on activities about shapes.

Great job to all of the performers tonight in the production of the Lion King! Special thanks to Mrs. Starner for directing a great show!

Dear 6th Grade Parents:
If your child is performing in the Lion King Musical, please have them arrive at school by 6:30PM. The performance will begin promptly at 7:00 PM in the Union Auditorium.
We apologize for any confusion, as we recently realized that two different times had been shared.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at the show.

MAY 6TH AT 5:30PM!!

It seems strange there’s only ONE day to celebrate principals ~ especially with all the hats they wear each day.
Thank you, Mrs. Patty Parrott and Mr. Bert Dible, for your leadership, dedication, and heart for Union Middle School. We appreciate all you do!
🧡🖤🐏 (National School Principals’ Day)

We are rooting for Tyler 💙 He is a 6th grader at USMS who will be admitted to the hospital May 20 to begin prepping his body for donor cells. You got this! 💪🏻

Dear RAM Family,
It is with great sadness that I must inform you about a loss to our school family. Mrs. Deb Berger, a Spanish teacher at Upper Sandusky High School and Middle School has lost her brave battle with cancer. Funeral arrangements will be handled through Lucas Batton Funeral home in Upper Sandusky and we have counselors and clergy on hand at the Middle School in case any students or staff need support in the coming days. We express our sincere condolences to the family, friends, coworkers and students of Mrs. Berger. She was a valued member of our staff and community. She led her life with strong family values and a deep faith. She will be missed.

Team Tyler shirts arrived and will be passed out 4/30/26. Please wear them on Friday, May 1st! 💙🩵
