Parents/ Guardians:

Your student’s Ohio State Testing scores are now live on PowerSchool Parent Portal for viewing at your convenience. You will still receive the traditional
testing results letter in the fall, which will contain more of a breakdown of your
student’s performance on this spring’s state tests.

For all of the tests, there are five (5) different performance levels
1) Limited
2) Basic
3) Proficient
4) Accomplished
5) Advanced

For accountability purposes, “passing” includes the Proficient, Accomplished and Advanced levels for all tests except Algebra I and ELA II. The
competency score (“passing”) required for graduation on the Algebra I and ELA II exams is 684 or higher. On the next page are tables showing the scale score ranges for each test.

If you have any questions regarding your elementary student’s scores, please
email the building principal (East/South - ailsa_d@usevs.org; Union ES - tim_w@usevs.org). If you have questions regarding your middle school student’s scores, please email Mrs. Parrott at patty_p@usevs.org. If you have questions regarding your high school student’s scores, please email Mrs. Williams at nicole_w@usevs.org.

Testing news
Dear Parents and Community Members,

Thank you to everyone who has generously donated to help bring Roy Hall Jr. to Upper Sandusky Middle School. We truly appreciate your support and belief in providing this meaningful opportunity for our students.

To give more individuals and businesses the opportunity to contribute, we have extended our fundraising campaign through early August. While we've made great progress, we still need additional funds to reach our goal.

If you are a local business owner, parent, community member, or simply an Ohio State fan who believes in investing in our youth, we would be grateful for your support. Every donation, regardless of the amount, brings us one step closer to providing our students with an inspiring message of leadership, perseverance, and purpose.

Thank you for helping us make this unforgettable experience possible for the students of Upper Sandusky Middle School. Every contribution truly makes a difference! 🧡🖤
Sincerely,
Patty Parrott

Mrs. Dillon-Barker’s Learning Center wrapped up Esperanza Rising this week by sampling some of the produce highlighted throughout the novel 🍑🥑 The students made Carlota de Durazno, a no-bake peach dessert, and Chocolate Avocado Pudding with Ms. Ana. They even delivered some of their creations to our five favorite lunch ladies as a thank you for making sure we have something good to eat each day!
