The USHS freshman boys basketball team defeated Mohawk 44-33 to win the N10 Championship on Saturday. Congratulations to the team and Coach Holly!
The USHS freshman boys basketball team defeated Carey 56-13 in the semi-finals of the N10 freshman boys basketball tournament last night. The Rams will play the winner of Mohawk-Seneca East in the tournament finals on Saturday, February 12, 10:00 a.m. at USHS. Admission will be $5.00. Only N10 passes will be accepted.

Shelby HS is looking forward to hosting Upper BBK this Saturday, 2/12. Tickets will be sold both online ( www.shelbyk12.org/tickets/ ) and at the gate. Prices are $5/student and $7/adult. Doors will open at 5:15pm.
COVID Update from School Nurse Beth Bower!

All OHSAA tournaments will be using digital ticketing for entry again this year. There will be no cash accepted at the gate. Tickets can be accessed 2-4 days before an event is to occur by going to www.ohsaa.org/tickets.
There will be a presale (discounted) ticket available for the sectional through regional levels. There will also be a game-day ticket available (3) three hours prior to the start of the event until capacity has been reached or until the event has reached the halfway point.

Due to the ACT, the USHS girls basketball game at Colonel Crawford on Saturday, February 12 will now start with a 1:00 p.m. JV tip followed by the varsity game.
The USHS freshman boys basketball team will play the winner of Carey and Buckeye Central on Wednesday, February 9th, 5:30 p.m. at USHS. Admission is $5. Only N10 passes will be accepted since this is a N10 tournament event. No USHS All-Sports passes will be accepted.
Due to uncertainty in the forecast for tomorrow’s winter storm and the potential timing of when it may arrive Upper Sandusky Schools will be closed and all evening activities, practices, and events in all buildings are cancelled on Wednesday, February 2nd.
All USHS/USMS athletic practices and games have been cancelled for Wednesday and Thursday.

Effective January 27th 2022, Upper Sandusky Schools will no longer conduct contact tracing for school related COVID-19 cases. The decision is consistent with guidance issued by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) on January 26, 2022. Email notification of positive COVID-19 cases in buildings, classrooms, athletics and school extracurricular activities will continue but close contacts will not be identified. Wyandot County Public Health and the school will continue to work together to deal with COVID-19 outbreaks or clusters in schools as necessary.
Positive COVID-19 cases must continue to follow current isolation guidance and contacts of positive cases outside of school must continue to follow quarantine guidelines from the Ohio Department of Health.

Upper Sandusky Schools are on a two hour delay due to windchill!

The USMS 7th and 8th grade basketball games with Carey have been cancelled for today and will not be rescheduled.
All USHS athletic practices and games are still on for today as scheduled. A decision on the MS basketball games with Carey will be made later this morning. Practices may be held after 2:00 p.m. today.
In talking with local officials road conditions are poor and are expected to continue to deteriorate overnight. Due to this, Upper Sandusky Schools will be closed tomorrow Tuesday, January 25th. Repeat Upper Sandusky Schools are closed tomorrow. Please be safe out there!

All tickets for the Upper Sandusky at Ontario boys basketball games on Tuesday, January 25, 6:00 p.m. will be available ONLINE ONLY. No cash will be accepted at the gate. Tickets will be available for purchase by going to www.ontarioschools.org/HometownTicketing/aspx. Tickets will not go "live" until Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and senior citizens (no fees added). N10 passes will be accepted.

The USMS basketball games scheduled with Carey for today have been moved to tomorrow. Only the 8th grade girls will play at Carey (no 7th grade girls game).
