Nominations for the USHS 2024 Hall of Fame Class are being accepted through May 24th. Candidates must be a graduate of USHS, a former coach at USHS, or an administrator at USHS and must have distinguished themselves through their athletic or administrative accomplishments, exploits, and achievements while at USHS and beyond. Please note that a nomination does not mean induction but all nominations will be kept on file to be considered for future years. If you would like to nominate a candidate for induction, please complete the nomination form found in the attached link or you can complete a paper copy of the nomination form at the high school athletic office. The 2024 USHS Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted at the home varsity football game on August 30th. BIG day in athletics as the Lady Rams Softball team travels to conference leading Mohawk to take on the Lady Warriors with first place on the line. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM. JV will host Mohawk.
The Rams Baseball team will also look to claim a share of first place in the N10 as they take on the Warriors on the road. Also a 5:00 PM first pitch start. There will be NO JV game today.
The Ram Tennis team will also be in action this afternoon hosting Willard. 4:15 start for that one.

The Varsity Boys Tennis match scheduled for today against River Valley has been CANCELLED due to a change in schedule for River Valley. We are looking for a potential replacement date.
Also, the JV/V Baseball double header at home on Saturday will start at 11:00 AM. The shared events post earlier had the start time at 5:00 PM. Sorry for the confusion.

USHS ATHLETIC EVENT REMINDER:
This is a friendly reminder that the V SB team will be participating in the Mid-Ohio Spring Classic at Marshall Park in Ontario this weekend. Their first game is tonight at 6:30 PM against Hillsdale and the game can be livestreamed on the OH Report. The Lady Rams will play again tomorrow at either 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM (depending on the outcome of tonight's game) as well as 3:00 PM. Come out and root on our 7-2 Lady Rams!
The JV SB team will also be in action tonight at Madison with a 5:00 PM first pitch.
Tomorrow is also our 21st Annual Swankhouse Track and Field Invite. Field events start at 9:30 AM with running events beginning at 10:30 AM. Come check out the action as our USHS Trackletes compete for "Top Dog" honors!
Finally, our Varsity Boys Tennis team will be in competition tomorrow at Sandusky Central Catholic with a 10:00 AM start time.

The OHSAA has designated this week as Officials Appreciation Week and the USHS Athletic Department would like to extend a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our local officials (OHSAA and others). Every year, these individuals attend clinics, participate in rules meetings and take tests in preparation for the season. During the season, these dedicated men and women take time away from their personal and work schedules and their families to provide our student-athletes the opportunity to play the games they love and contribute to the overall experience our student-athletes receive while participating in educational athletics. The Varsity Boys Tennis tournament at Bucyrus (9:00 AM) and the Varsity Baseball game at Troy (12:00 PM) are still ON as of now. If anything changes, we will let you know ASAP.

The first official day for boys USMS track and field will be Feb 20th at 3:00
The first official day for girls USMS track and field will be Feb 26th at 3:00
All USMS athletes must have their final forms and physical completed before the first day of practice.
Also, the USMS spring player/parent sports meeting is still to be determined.
