Here are the USHS/USMS athletic events for the week of 4/22. Please note some of the changes.

USHS ATHLETIC EVENT REMINDER:
This is a friendly reminder that the V SB team will be participating in the Mid-Ohio Spring Classic at Marshall Park in Ontario this weekend. Their first game is tonight at 6:30 PM against Hillsdale and the game can be livestreamed on the OH Report. The Lady Rams will play again tomorrow at either 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM (depending on the outcome of tonight's game) as well as 3:00 PM. Come out and root on our 7-2 Lady Rams!
The JV SB team will also be in action tonight at Madison with a 5:00 PM first pitch.
Tomorrow is also our 21st Annual Swankhouse Track and Field Invite. Field events start at 9:30 AM with running events beginning at 10:30 AM. Come check out the action as our USHS Trackletes compete for "Top Dog" honors!
Finally, our Varsity Boys Tennis team will be in competition tomorrow at Sandusky Central Catholic with a 10:00 AM start time.

ATTENTION: USHS PROSPECTIVE SOCCER PLAYERS AND PARENTS
There will be an informational meeting with Coach Searfoss and the USHS boys soccer staff this Sunday, April 21st at the High School Library at 6:00 PM. This meeting is intended for any prospective high school soccer players and their parents. Please contact Coach Searfoss or the Athletic Department if you have any questions. Ram Pride!

USHS ATHLETIC SCHEDULE UPDATE:
The Boys Varsity Tennis match at Shelby has been CANCELLED due to inclement weather. A makeup date is being determined.
The JV BB/SB games at Seneca East have been pushed back to a 6:00 PM start time.
The V BB/SB games at home against Seneca East have also been moved back to a 6:00 PM start time. We will keep you posted on any further cancellations.

The OHSAA has designated this week as Officials Appreciation Week and the USHS Athletic Department would like to extend a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our local officials (OHSAA and others). Every year, these individuals attend clinics, participate in rules meetings and take tests in preparation for the season. During the season, these dedicated men and women take time away from their personal and work schedules and their families to provide our student-athletes the opportunity to play the games they love and contribute to the overall experience our student-athletes receive while participating in educational athletics. Please take the opportunity to thank an official today for what they provide to our student-athletes. Ram Pride!

USHS ATHLETICS UPDATE:
The Varsity Softball double header at Vanlue scheduled for tomorrow (4/13) has been CANCELLED due to unplayable field conditions. A makeup date is being explored.
The Varsity Boys Tennis tournament at Bucyrus (9:00 AM) and the Varsity Baseball game at Troy (12:00 PM) are still ON as of now. If anything changes, we will let you know ASAP.

USMS Track and Field
The first official day for boys USMS track and field will be Feb 20th at 3:00
The first official day for girls USMS track and field will be Feb 26th at 3:00
All USMS athletes must have their final forms and physical completed before the first day of practice.
Also, the USMS spring player/parent sports meeting is still to be determined.

Although we aren't often competitors, we do share a common bond in our appreciation and admiration for our student-athletes and the loss of one of them is a loss for all of us.
