More Camp Read-A-Lot pictures

Camp Read-A-Lot is in full swing! Here are some fun pictures.
Attention Parents:
In a continuation of last year all K- 11th grade students will be keeping their Chromebooks over the summer.
- All K-11th grade students will take their Chromebook and power adapter HOME for the summer. This way they will have their assigned Chromebook in their possession at the start of the year since they will keep the same Chromebook.
- We ask the student/parent/guardian to please charge their Chromebook over the summer at a minimum of 1 hour per week. It does not need to stay plugged in 24/7, for those concerned about batteries overheating.
- All Chromebooks will be disabled over the summer, except for those in a summer classes/summer school scenario. This means when a student opens their Chromebook it will not check-in and allow a login.
- Chromebooks will be enabled Mon., August 15th so students can make sure their Chromebook boots up and the student can log in.
- Current seniors turn their Chromebooks in on May 18th to the Tech Office unless they have need of them for makeup work. In which case they would turn them in as soon as that work is finished.

Next week is Right To Read Week for grades K-5. We have tons of fun "camping" activities planned to celebrate Camp Read-A-Lot next week. Check out the flyer so know what your kids can bring or wear each day. It's on the school's facebook page too.

Parents - please be aware that you must pick up all students medication that you have sent to the school office by May 31st or it will be disposed of. Thank you.

Parents - the school evacuated today around lunchtime when the fire alarm went off. The fire department did come to check the building and all was deemed safe to return. It was found that a faulty electrical sensor caused the alarm. This will be fixed, but in the meantime if it happens again, we will evacuate until all is found safe to return to the building.
I'm very proud of the kids! They did exactly what we practice each month when the alarm went off.
