Kindergarteners read the folktale Stone Soup and then retold the story together and made our own Stobe Soup! The villagers and our students learned the lesson about sharing.
They also learned about Johnny Appleseed and celebrated his birthday by making applesauce in the class. They also enjoyed figuring out which parts of the story about John Chapman could be factual and which parts were “tall tales”!

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Submit your Free/Reduced Price Meal Application today!
Currently 106 students still need their parents to submit an application for the 2023-24 school year in order to continue to receive free meals after October 6, 2023.
That means there is only 2 weeks left before those students will be charged full price for school meals. Unfortunately those charges will not be reversed if the family submits an application that is approved after October 6.
