I am a great believer in life-long learning - and it is more than what happens inside a school building. In fact, we need to make sure students understand that in order to be successful in today's world, they need to always be open to updating their skills and knowledge. In addition, learning new things each year keeps our brains young and helps us stay connected to our community. That is why I enjoy the Wyandot County Fair. It is a fantastic showcase of the learning the children and adults of our community are participating in. I love talking with the students about their projects and seeing their enthusiasm and creativity. Many of my neighbors enter all sorts of domestic, garden and kitchen projects that showcase their skills. I definitely know who I need to talk to if I need help on some of my gardening issues! Congratulations to all exhibitors for another excellent fair celebrating community learning!
