Welcome to Upper Sandusky High School

Upper Sandusky High School is committed to providing high-quality education to our diverse student body. We achieve our goals through a challenging curriculum, quality teachers, and an atmosphere that emphasizes communication and cooperation. Together, these elements create a safe and engaging learning environment in which all students can excel.

Upper Sandusky High School is located at 800 N. Sandusky Avenue and serves students in grades 9-12. Having an enrollment of approximately 531 students with about 31 of them attending Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technology Centers. The school has a staff of 31 teachers 2 guidance counselors, a principal, an assistant principal and full-time or part-time support staff and teaching specialists.

Upper Sandusky High is a member of the N10 athletic league. Upper Sandusky High is proud of its curriculum. It offers 106 course offerings in college preparatory, business, vocational, home economics, industrial arts, general courses, learning disabilities classes and tutoring.  The music program includes marching band, jazz band, pep band, concert bands and several choirs.

Mission Impossible

Digital Tools students earn 2nd place in state contest

This year's Digital Tools students entered the video contest for the Ohio School Boards Association and won 2nd Place for their video 'Mission Impossible'   This is the second year the Digital Tools students have placed second in this contest.  For their work the school receives $500 to go towards equipment for the Digital Tools class.  The students will be recognized and given their award at the December 16 School Board Meeting.

Advisory Members

Principal Advisory Members

Selections for the 2019/20 Principal Advisory Committee have been made. Your class representatives are: Olivia Gier, Carlos Brammer, Perry Koepke, Olivia Walter, Jenna Fagan, Hannah Daris, Olivia Barth. These students will meet with Mrs. Stanton and Mrs. Waggy each month to discuss student concerns. Speak to your class representatives if you have issues you'd like to be addressed. More +

Visits from former students will be entertained only if they have an appointment set with the staff member and the office has been notified beforehand. This type of visit will be restricted to before or after regular school hours. All visitors must report to the office and sign in to the office and receive a pass. Our guidance and administrative offices value the time we spend with our students and parents. We think it is imperative to give you our undivided attention when we meet with you. In order to better serve you and give you the attention you deserve, we ask that you make an appointment to meet with us. When you have a concern, please call the office to set up a time for us to sit down and discuss the topics that are important to you.
