Welcome to Upper Sandusky High School

Upper Sandusky High School is committed to providing high-quality education to our diverse student body. We achieve our goals through a challenging curriculum, quality teachers, and an atmosphere that emphasizes communication and cooperation. Together, these elements create a safe and engaging learning environment in which all students can excel.

Upper Sandusky High School is located at 800 N. Sandusky Avenue and serves students in grades 9-12. Having an enrollment of approximately 531 students with about 31 of them attending Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technology Centers. The school has a staff of 31 teachers 2 guidance counselors, a principal, an assistant principal and full-time or part-time support staff and teaching specialists.

Upper Sandusky High is a member of the N10 athletic league. Upper Sandusky High is proud of its curriculum. It offers 106 course offerings in college preparatory, business, vocational, home economics, industrial arts, general courses, learning disabilities classes and tutoring.  The music program includes marching band, jazz band, pep band, concert bands and several choirs.

10/3 - Volleyball Senior Citizen Night

The Upper Sandusky High School Athletic Department has announced that Thursday, October 3rd will be “Senior Citizen Night” as USHS battles Seneca East High School in jv and varsity volleyball. All senior citizens will receive free admission to both matches and a coupon for a free water and popcorn from the concession stand. The jv match will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity match to follow. College Visitor Opportunities

Juniors and Seniors we have a couple of Universities who will be visiting our school! Bowling Green State University will be visiting our school on September 17th during 8th period in room 401 Bluffton University will be here on September 24th during 8th period for a college visit. Mt. Vernon Nazarene University will be here September 25th during Ram Time, 10:18 to 11:09, in room 401. Tuesday, September 17 during 3rd period in room 401 with Tiffin University here is a sign-up sheet outside the guidance office on the bulletin board for anyone who is interested in attending any of the sessions. Early/Late Arrival for Seniors

Seniors - the last day to turn in paperwork for senior privilege of arriving late or leaving early from school will be September 11th. Please make sure to have your signed paperwork turned in by this date. More +

Attention all football players. Please park your cars in the SOFTBALL PARKING LOT on Thursday for practice. We have a home Middle School Football Game and a HOME Girls Soccer Match that day. Thanks for your help! More +

PSAT Test Sign ups

Mrs. Dunlap would like to announce that the PSAT will be on October 16th with limited spaces. Anyone who is interested needs to come to the guidance office to sign up by October 11th along with their $17.00 payment to take the test. If you have any questions please see the Guidance Office.

Our guidance and administrative offices value the time we spend with our students and parents. We think it is imperative to give you our undivided attention when we meet with you. In order to better serve you and give you the attention you deserve, we ask that you make an appointment to meet with us. When you have a concern, please call the office to set up a time for us to sit down and discuss the topics that are important to you.
